Thank you so much all the videos. You’ve definitely helped me dial my Livescope unit in. Does the Steadycast have an impact on the accuracy of the spot lock on the Force trolling motor?
I got my ultra 106sv & steady cast in December, then added the lvs34 system in late January. I've always kept my steady cast & lvs34 calibrated. So I have only ever known/used it with the icon showing the direction of the transducer. It has been very useful to me! I also keep my heading line at same distance as my lvs34 34 so I know where I'm at coming up on waypoints & definitely helpful for knowing the distance of anything. Is there people that don't use these options? Why wouldn't they?
Hey Mr Guru. What do you know about lagging/skipping? I saw one youtube dedicated to lag do I need to send black box back? Never had problem before today fished 5 hrs then screen started lagging.
I have 34 plus on separate pole with nema and steadycast , everything is calibrated and I have Livescope pointing in front of boat and beam icon is at 3:00 , not at 12;00 , off to right , is it because it’s not on beam up , north up. Or something else
Anyone with any fishing electronics should have that brands heading sensor. I'm new to fishing electronics & only had 1 unit now sense December. But I've read & watched enough videos to know if you wanna fish anything besides the bank & plan on anchoring or setting still/drifting. Your units map will rotate. Not with the heading sensor. It keeps your heading true on the map weather your moving or not. I would think most people would already know this. & Anyone spending $ on a LS would already have the steady cast before hand? Which is why I bought the steady cast with my unit & hooked them up together at same time. Heading sensor is a must even without LS!
In regards to knowing about an electronic compass, most people don't understand how GPS works and have no idea the electronic compass exists. I see them mounted on the boat but they don't have to a view of the sky to work. Garmin Guru made a video not knowing about this and called the icon in the upper right corner useless for Live Scope and he needs to edit his old video because it is bad information. My Garmin TM has one GPS receiver but the Kranken has two. In addition, waypoint accuracy is better if your unit has both US GPS and the Russian version on to receive both signals at the same time increasing accuracy. My Garmin 126 has this option.
Hey man I'm reaching out to you because I cannot find this anywhere else I was changing out my transducer on my force and pulled too hard on the data cable and broke the plug off the board in the motor. I have someone who can fix it but there is a jumper that we don't know where it goes. So I'm asking you can you pull the nose cone and pull the front off the motor on yours and get me some pics of the connector on the board?
I either hooked my steadycast up wrong or something else is faulty. Even with it hooked up it’s off and doesn’t match up to which way the transducer is facing. It’s annoying
I am just starting to figure out my live scope system using these videos. I spent a lot of money. Now you’re gonna make me spend more.🤣
Yep break out the pockerbook

Ordered mine this week. Haven't tested. Still researching where to mount it. Like to hear everyone's thoughts.
It depends on the boat. I have mine up on the right side near the bow where I sit and use the trolling motor.

Good info brother
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
What calibration quality are you guys getting with the steady cast? Just curious about the number

Hey Guru, haven't seen you in a while, stay safe 🙏
Baseball season. I’ll be back in full force soon
Good one
Thanks

Because you’re still using the heading sensor from the transducer
So in the settings somewhere you have to select the steady cast as the heading to be used
@@Majorfeedlures you can also choose you use your Garmin trolling motor heading sensor also
Which is better to use? The steady cast or the trolling motor
