Go pat man. He is easily my favorite rider, and I'm so stoked on this series. It really inspires me to give a trick that extra last try to get it.

just think it was a pretty thoughtless thing to say that it's a joke that people get burnt out. you don't know the reasons behind why someone would stop doing a sport. it's not for you to judge that. just be happy you have your good friends and your passion and everything is great, and let others worry about their possible problems in peace, without assuming the type of person they are.
I agree, Red Bull had a video similar to this but it was about BMXing, how it's their passion to go chill out on the trails. I tried BMXing and I didn't like it because I was not good at it, and it hurt trying.
I think his true point was if youre doing something you truly love how can you get burnt out on it? He clearly hasn't nor has the crew around him. As far as getting hurt and not being good at it...well if thats going to keep you down then it is not your passion. Don't take it all so literally, after all he is Pat Moore.
think he was referring to pro snowboarders using that as an excuse to stop progressing the sport or their own skill level.

Here we go again with the epitome of the simplistic pro' snowboarder's life philosophy. Live totally in the moment while filming for the future. The Bible refers to this simple mindedness as a very bad thing. Focusing on your self and your good time feelings as the be-all & end-all is following the wide road to perdition. There are very serious realities to life and the biggest one is that when you die you have to stand before God & give an account for your life & all of the times you broke His Laws. When you try to say that you deserve to go to Heaven because you had a really good time snowboarding with your friends in life, it isn't going to cut it.
I was this way until I was 30 and read the Bible. Since then my eyes have been opened to the Truth that will set you free and able to stand on Judgment Day because of the grace of Jesus Christ. I will always love snowboarding, but it's not the purpose for which I live my life, God's will is and that's what the 1st & 2nd Commandments are all about.
Paul Sayer is right, do you really think everyone in the world is going to love snowboarding as much as you? Seriously, please think about these things. What really matters in life is what God says, does, and wills for us. Playing like a kid in the snow is not impressive too Him. His eternal life requires repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, "I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Me." It is True and I know it because my eyes have been opened through being born-again, just like the Bible says; though I was lost like you for 31 years.
It doesn't matter what you believe, what matters is whether or not what you believe is True.
God likes a Bible freak, and those who hear His Word do as well. Your hatred of Jesus is evidence of the Truth of the Bible.
REPENT & BELIEVE
So go to a jesus praising video and you can all get along together, i cam here to watch snowboarding, not to reassure myself why i don't believe how a virgin had a child and this child came to brainwash individuals for thousands of years
Christian Repenter nobody is taking away your freedom of speech. Freedom of speech does not mean you can't be criticized or that everybody must agree with you. You hold such beliefs and many people are going to point out how stupid it is, because freedom of speech goes both ways.
You have every right to hold stupid beliefs and express them and everybody else has the right to make fun of stupid fools. Isn't it fun?
