The two pups actually survived the drain pipe experience pretty well all things considered! I guess the mother dog had been feral for too long be captured! It is very nice how well you took care of the pups!

This is what I learned when I was volunteering at an animal shelter. The perm staff that I follow to help would pinch the puppy's tail or the soft flabby skin behind the neck to make it yelp in pain and 90% of the time the mother / father dog would be running out of its hiding.
