- Today I have a short video for you of some highlights from this fantastic game, Max Payne 3. There aren't many games out that I feel like playing at the moment so until some new ones come around I'll be visiting some games I always fall back on. Max Payne 3 has always been a good time & it's very easy to revisit for some fun action. Let me know if you enjoyed the video, see you soon :D

Shooting in that game is just pure bliss even better when you get headshots. If it had nutshot animation like stranglehold it would be chef kiss but well the game is already badass so it's fine.

oh god, you have no idea. I don't have a working dualshock 3 now, so i use my dualshock 4 when i play my ps3...max payne 3 is one of the few games that isn't compatible with the dualshock 4, so i can't even play it,

@@Mhe6606 the internet is flooded with knockoffs that look official. My point is, there's no reliable way to buy an official one now. I accidentally bought two fakes, and the analogue sticks make the game unplayable
The biggest crime is DLC's. They never made to can all players access them or even can vote them.
I remember when DLC's came out on PC no one dared to vote because they don't own that map.
And those that do and vote, all others who don't have DLC's are kicked out.
There's reason why game went on crazy sale months later on Steam. Still, not many people owned it to make it worth it.
Most of maps weren't even used to play. People were more interested to play gang wars because it was fun.

Absolutely the best use of the Euphoria/other middleware that R* implemented into their engine. The way the AI reacts to the environments and damage is just awesome.
Clean. Efficient. Conservative. Deadly. This is the best Max Payne 3 video ever made, hands down. You're one of the few people with a true understanding of the importance of stagger

I wish all r* games had max payne 3’s gameplay... as phenomenal rdr2 is, controlling arthur is just too damn clunky and slow
I agree with you. RDR 2 has a more realistic gameplay but a less fun one.
for me it's the contrary... i think max payne 3 make things wayyyy too easy, it doesn't feel like you're pointing a gun at all.
@@brxnv_ well i kinda understand why, maybe because there’s hardly any aim wobble in max payne 3. But the movement is awesom, such as strafing side to side, rolling alway etc
I think rdr 1 has faster combat, MP3 was based on RDR system anyway

Yea, it was a great game, its a shame they keep all the good backwards compatible games hostage and won't release them to be available to play digitally...

@@AltairStealth it's fun as a good nostalgia trip. Really glad I downloaded it.
Also the aiming part which is super difficult to do on phones is well done with the auto aim. So you can wreak havoc without dying a lot. While I was downloading the game I was skeptic about the aiming part but I was quite satisfied with it.
Would recommend it definitely.

gta focuses on the open world, mini games driving, flying and so on would be great to have this gunplay but i would rather they focus on the open world.

Awesome story, cutscenes, characters, dialogue, voice acting

This just shows Rockstar knows how to make competent moving and shooting controls, the way it is in gta and rdr2 is just an artistic choice
Remedy would be the best game devs to make a third person John Wick game....
I love enabling things like infinite bullet time and ammo just to see what smooth moves i might be able to pull off in this Treasure of a shooter

I loved every part of 4:00 for some reason. Waiting in silence knowing someone is there is a very Max Payne thing to do for some reason lol. I loved this game, probably going to reinstall it now.

Just now realizing (& I BEAT this when it came out) that all of the enemies have the exact same voice actor, listen close through the whole video, you'll notice 😂 Also, my *God* the PC version looks like it's from the FUTURE compared to the 360/PS3 ones.

Funny I just finished Max Payne 1 was a literal Payne to get it running on modern systems.......
They need to remaster the prequels with this style of graphics and remaster and rerelease this one and puttem in a remastered collection Series X/PS5 bundle and I will buy...ASAP.😎

What sucks is that if this series had released later than when it originally did it probably would've gotten all the way to four games instead of three. Also they wouldn't have made the dumb choices they made with this game.

I think personally the dev for this game should create a sequel for max payne. Its 2021 now and graphic nowadays are so frkn awesome, with this kind of gameplay and shooting scene, the next Max Payne game will definitely be a hit.

Wick is a copy of max payne.
Never thought of popping them in the leg, I forgot that the enemies will react to getting shot in the limbs instead of just sponge the bullets.
So you play blindfolded? How can you forget about something, that you can see every time you shot to someone?

Maybe on the easier difficulties sure but on the harder difficulties I would say its impossible.

This game perfectly demonstrates why mouse and keyboard is by far the most superior form of control for gaming. The movement, speed, smoothess, and overall accuracy you get with a mouse is just simply amazing! It honestly makes playing games so much more immersive. 😏👌

Yeah, racing games and walking slow. That's literally all a controller is good for really. Everything else, though? Mouse and keyboard all the way. ⌨ 🖱

It didn’t sell well. Max Payne was a cult classic but it wasn’t very well known so not many people opted to pick up the 3rd entry in a series they’d never heard of before, especially younger audiences which make up the majority of gaming’s profits. It also ended with Max retiring happily, once and for all. Gotta think, he’s well into his 50’s in this one. It wouldn’t be right to bring him out for a 4th game.
