That's called millenium hardcore because it was the main style in let's say 2006 - 2013, but basically 2000 - 2010 yeah. It's rarer but with a come back these days, with a lot of nostalgia. Most modern producers are in the Japanese scene tho, pretty underground compared to this. You should mostly follow 3 labels: Gemainshaft, The Third Movement and Neophyte records (more: border Town, State Of Anarchy, Login Records, Dequinox) Names: Tha Playah, Nosferatu, Korsakoff so, Hellsystem, The Viper, (the OGs), Unphased, Unfused, D-Ceptor + stuff you could like, accessible but purist hardcore: Mad Dog, Ophidian, Promo, Starving Insect (an entry between oldschool, mainstream and the more purist stuff even, like Akira, Nanostorm, Dolphin, Deathmachine, Strange Arrival, The Outside Agency. Recently promo released a 3-part remix album with very different artists). JP scene: Matsui K, Falchion, Roughsketch, 6th, Sho-Nan for the most "famous", but there are new ones that pop all the time.
