Present international institutions are clearly inadequate to the challenges of a globalized world hitting planetary limits. What transformations are needed to make global governance more effective, and how might the transition be organized? This presentation will share institutional, legal and environmental perspectives on the characteristics required for international institutions in the 21st century and some of the steps necessary to put them into place. The talk will draw from insights contained in the writings of Shoghi Effendi.

Really enjoyed this talk, but so much to comprehend. Can the power point be shared? Also as to Vanuatu, Tanna is a large high island, so I'm sure the Temple is being built in a place far enough from the coastal areas and high enough in elevation so hopefully sea level rise will not affect it. The four atoll nations that will disappear are the Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Tuvalu, the Maldives, and Tokelau which is a territory of New Zealand. Other countries with atolls also have high islands were theoretically people in these countries living on atolls, could move to.
