I have tried both the "dummy" method and the schedule method. I honestly prefer the "dummy" method because of spell check. And it's just simpler--Why complicate something when you don't need to? I recommend adding your notes to a Drafting View, though. That way you can copy them to a master library and just insert from file. Or use a legend view if it's general notes that you need to use on several sheets. Also SHIFT+ENTER at the end of the row will get you the empty row in a bulleted list, so you don't have to backspace. Keystrokes count.
Thanks so much for this tip! I had no idea! I agree the dummy method is so much easier. For 1/ 2 story projects id prefer this method. If you have more floors then I think a smart note system starts to make some sense. It is hard to manage though.
Hello there! I bought both of your courses plumbing 101 and 102. They are very educational. My drawings on my portfolio looks more professional than ever!. I do have one question on construction drawing course. Do pipes or mechanical systems need to be color code or is it ok to be all black?
That's great to hear! Typically when I print construction documents I do it in black and white. But when modeling inside the software I do use color to separate the systems. There is a print setting in Revit where you can set it to black and white and it will remove all the colors for your PDFs.

I’ve done sheet notes both ways you showed (note block and regular text). I had no idea 2023 had that feature. It’s an absolute game changer.
I know! If you think of other ways this could be beneficial let me know.
