Awesome video! I bought couple of these a few months ago and decided to go the hard way. I created my own design/diorama without looking at the instructions a single time to understand how any of it went together 😅 turned out almost perfectly; broke some of the wiring by bending them a bit to much in the process. Besides that, I love this kind of DIY diorama straight out of the box!
I don’t know if I would have been able to do it without the instructions. I am definitely going to order another one for my own design. Thank you for watching!
Yes the right angle adapter is a great pointer. I constructed mine tonight finishing up as I started watching your video. I’ve been hesitant to construct it. I received my Figma Metroid 3 figure today and just had to tackle the job! Such a great kit! I would pay double for it. I actually bought 3. The tricky parts are the wiring throughout both side by side panels of this corridor. And the angled parts are a little tricky too. I’m very pleased with this kit! Nice Video!
Thank you. It is always harder doing these sort of things on camera. I ordered another one, but it doesn’t come in until March. I’m planning on trying out some different designs with that one.
So glad you posted this, just bought this for my son and I plan to have it prebuilt for Christmas and the instructions just don’t cut it! Glad to get a view of how things work before I attempt it. Planning to build the hallway design they have on the back cover, awesome job, looks great, makes me want to buy another!
Unfortunately I do not collect that series and am not sure about their scale. If they are 10” or less when transformed, then this might work pretty well for them. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for posting this I've had mine a few months just started putting it together now but how do I power this thing? What kind of adapter do I need to plug this into the wall?
Can you buy the lighting package separately? I couldn’t find the one that came with the lights apparently. Do you think I could use a led light set up of my own under it all?
If I were to do it again, I would probably get it without the LEDs and save some $$$. If you have experience with LED lighting, it would be pretty easy to run the wiring under the panels. I am not sure if they sell the actual lighting kit separately. Thank you for watching.
I think the LEDs definitely add something to it. For the price difference it makes sense to go with the LEDs as well. I don’t actually have the Detolf from IKEA, but based on the specs - about 13” x 13”, it should fit. You might need to get a right angle adapter for the power, however. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for showing the full process. It helped out a lot.
I’m glad you found it helpful. Thank you for watching!
This is good idea for my NECA alien
Awesome and detailed review! I think this is a very versatile diorama. Subscribed!
Thank you for watching and subscribing!
I had the same issue with lights not working. So I smash hit it tight. It works fine now.
I got it working as well. Thank you for watching!

I really hope they get this back in stock soon! It looks so great!
It’s a great display piece. Thank you for watching!

I’m glad it was helpful! I’m debating getting another one as well for the hallway too. Thank you for watching!

Great video man!! I am interested in getting this, but do you know if this scales well with generations transformers toys?
Unfortunately I do not collect that series and am not sure about their scale. If they are 10” or less when transformed, then this might work pretty well for them. Thank you for watching!
@@LuminousMatrix Okay It'll work great for my stop motion films thanks!!
Thanks for posting this I've had mine a few months just started putting it together now but how do I power this thing? What kind of adapter do I need to plug this into the wall?
It’s powered via USB… so just make sure you have a strong enough AC adapter. Thank you for watching!
I went with the wall configuration. For anyone interested www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/59904410/nova-another-stylecompressed

Would you recommend with LED or without LED set? The end result in your video, do you think that would fit in a Ikea Detolf? Thanks.

Were you able to attach the back panel? I used scotch tape
I actually didn’t have any issues with that that I recall - didn’t use any tape. Make sure the grates are going the right direction though...
Oh wait, I didn’t complete the back panel turning it around so have the cross panels showing. I guess it fits when completed
Another question, does the remote wire plug into the RI port? “Remote input?”
It has been a little while since I assembled the unit, but it was either IR or RI.
My come with no cable or controller
Did you order the one with the light kit? It comes in several variations. Thank you for watching!
@@LuminousMatrix well my say in the box that comes with lights idk
I’m sorry. Have you contacted the retailer?
