I absolutely agree with David my dad used to do A LOT of charity work in El Salvador and we used to go every year when I was a kid and it was weird being around villages where people were living in dirt huts and we were just waking around all nonchalant it’s a great experience to see what other people live like of course but I absolutely understand what he meant

When i watched the vlogs back in high school, "Show me what Im looking for" was one of the many songs I grabbed and it followed me through graduation, college, and all my happiest moments. I’m almost 40, guys, and I remember back in the Pandora days, this song used to come on aaallll the time. And it was already a very emotional song back then. I mean, it’s not a terribly old song but it does bring back old memories for me. ❤️
I’m the same age as David. That song came out when we were in 8th grade. It has always been one of my favorite songs. As I’ve grown older and grown a deeper relationship with Christ, it resonates with me even moreso now. I’ve come to realize us as humans have no idea what will give us the joy our heart desires. We need the author of joy to show us what we’re really looking for.
So what Chad is saying is that with the exposure of David he was able to turn his life back around. Yet these labels are taking all the money from creators saying that they are taking money from them when the reality is it’s free promotion from creators giving them all this exposure!

I'm happy for David because, for years, he could not leave the USA. I remember him talking about wishing he could travel the world and how he could not come back if he left. Now he has his own travel show.
