In the 80’s how many of todays Tory keyboard warriors would have heckled Alexei or dared engage him in conversation? I remember going to see him and standing a few rows back from the stage and being beautifully intimidated despite me making Karl Marx look like Norman Tebbit.
I also do not believe it is not butter. I appreciate his approach to both comedy and policy appraisal. I do not always agree with him, but I believe having a sit down talk with him would be more effective than most political faces.
@@skawashers if Jeremy Corbyn himself was such a despicable character , how come they left him to be re elected again and again by many people then elected by a large majority in a democratic fashion to become a top dog in the party - only to then allege all sorts of nasty charges once he becomes a real force that many younger people pin their hopes upon ? Caution. I am a fan , but I heard him praise Novaramedia, (An alternative news channel that provides no alternative to Labour) I heard him on a podcast talk about the Batley and Spen by election and not mention George Galloway. He would not ever support the Workers Party.
Given that when they started they were outside the Labour party and all about street politics, and they only joined the Labour Party after Corbyn got on the leadership ballot I see them as non-Trotskyist independent Marxist entryism.
PPE is just enough education to not know enough about Politics, Philosophy or Economics, while mistakenly imagining they understand Marx well enough to sneer. The clue is in the name. If you want to properly understand any of those three, you give it all your effort, not a third of your effort, especially considering how vast the range of Philosophy is.
