4:50 I would like to point out that the bracelet links are actually solid links in this specific model. They are not stamped bracelets like most of the edifice watches.
I've had it for a month. Took it on a business trip as a beater, and I couldn't stop looking at it when I had the chance. It'd look even better with a rally strap, IMO.
Yeah, Zenith homage look, if not functionality, always a good look. It really could do without the ‘Edifice’ on the dial IMO. And the seconds hand hits the markers! I can see why it sold out.
Quartz is just nice. My two automatics become annoying when I don't wear them for more than a couple of days. My quartz watches are all just ready to go whenever I want or need them.
Fantastic! Thank you, Ben, for this video. I think all three colours are great... I really don't know which one I would choose. Maybe the silver one gives me "panda" feels...
At least they didn't put a tachymeter scale around the bezel, with the six-o'clock elapsed seconds dial. How often have we seen that with other brands? 🙂
Santa left the blue dial version under the tree for me this morning, they are solid links with push pins. I usually swap out the bracelets when I get Casios, but this one seems pretty good, despite the hollow end links and pressed clasp. Only things I would change would be to have ticking small seconds/chrono centre seconds and no date, but these are by no means showstoppers, cracking watch for the money!
Nice looking watch. The contrast between the face and sub-dials is standout attractive, Been thinking about getting the somewhat similar OCW-T2600J-7AJF, but can't seem to make myself spend the money.
I guess you're new in this "business". Just check the original El Primero by Zenith and you will see 4 text lines like the Casio one: "Zenith - Chronograph - Automatic - El Primero".
@chronospeedster the text on Zenith is not a massive E like on this Edifice, this logo cheapens the watch a lot. Seiko had the Seiko Grandseiko logo and eventually removed the Seiko text for the same reason, cleanliness.
First saw this in an H Samuel window a few weeks ago and thought it looked really sharp, especially I think due to the 3-D effect created by the applied markers and those sub dials.
The Casio Daytona? The chrono functionality seems a step down from the Seiko movements in other watches but who ever really uses a chronograph? A Solar movement would have been nice. A comparison to the Parnis Daytona or one of the other clones would seem to be a clip waiting to be made. Nice clip. A real tempter.
Man I already have the EFB-710D-7AV it's also a sapphire crystal chronograph with a really nice silver dial which I really like the look of and i don't see anyone talk about it. This EFB-730D though also caught my eye. Now I'm debating whether to get this one or the panda marlin chrono.
proportion are spot on, build quality too. The only thing i dont like is the movement they used. You usually see these types of movements on cheap watches. Nevertheless im planning to get one
can u do a strap video for the lineage. I bought one because of your review and while I like the bracelet it's super scratched now and want to swap to a leather strap or something but dk what to get. I think you have tons you could do a strap show for and help give me some ideas as well as others for a similar style watch. love your content and would enjoy a strap show from you for other watches too.
I came really close to getting one but chrono/second hand put me off. Ended up with a Rotary GBO5550 with a VK something movement. 38mm bicompax. I guess people see Rotary as a fashion brand but I couldn't care less it's a great small chronograph with 100m water resistance.
It looks nice. it's so obvious it's inspired of last Citizen super titanium models like CA4610-85A. I have one and I immediately thought that casio tried to offer a cheaper version of the Citizen. The Watch look nice but I just find the shape of the case a little weird. Thé Citizen is more "harmonious" AND it's titanium...and it's ultra accurate, and it's Solar powered. But it's 300€ more so...
I love it, but that chrono function is disappointing, especially as edifice are the racing/ sporty arm of Casio. It's virtually put me off buying one. WHY, CASIO, WHY?
The overall aesthetics/proportions seem 'off' to me...the bracelet is too narrow where it attaches to the watch body. It's not a cohesive look...imho. It is a Casio, so there's great value for money. To each their own.
this is a beautiful watch however in my opinion a watch such as this one is all about simplicity. Too much writing on the dial ie logo, edifice, casio and sapphire. I think they should narrow it down.
Wear my one and only Edifice today, you say? Okay, sure. There's worse choices than that. It's the EF-311 in blue. Bit of a meme watch: Four sub-dials, but no chrono.
That is the furthest thing from a dress watch you could possibly get. A “big-second” chrono is something you made up so no one knows what the heck you are talking about.🤦♂️ Better luck next time tho.
@@dmoneydmoney6050A “big-second” or “big-seconds” chrono is one that has the large seconds hand (the one that most non-chronograph watches use as a seconds hand for normal time) as the chronograph seconds hand and the small seconds hand as the normal seconds hand.
Used this watch on my buddy Dylan's mom. she was very impressed. lets just say she was very very very impressed if you catch my drift. hubba hubba. meow meow to tuna town.
I would 100% rock a quartz chrono, but they always come with useless 24-hour sub-dials and the running minutes make the watch impossible to use as a chronograph. Chronograph shaped objects.
I'm not a chronograph fan, so I'm predisposed against this. Still, it's pretty. Those hands are a problem though; they camouflage into the dial and I can't see the time! Why would they not make contrasting hands?! Metallic red, metallic blue, even black and it's a possible buy. But hiding the time from me with that invisible silver? Nope.
The blue is lovely - it's a bit big for me, though. I recently picked up a Nordgreen Guardian from TK Maxx and I've been thoroughly impressed. Ignoring some the cynicism of some UA-camrs, it looks great, it's kept perfect time, and it feels really well-made. The bargain price helps!
The Mrs is getting me this for Christmas, unfortunately it didn't arrive in time though!! The rubber strap on the Brave beaters youtube channel looks awesome on this panda dial, and I also like the look of this watch on the Strapcode Super-J jubilee bracelet. I opted for the panda-style seen here, but for that extra 'Zenith-y' look, I might also opt for the blue dial with red chrono hands, on that jubilee bracelet, as seen here... ua-cam.com/video/1R8G9dYq6k4/v-deo.html
Casio screwed up with this model, the look of a chronograph that doesn't have the function of a chronograph, like a diver that isn't water proof. If Chinese micro brands can pull it off why casio can't

I would like to point out that the bracelet links are actually solid links in this specific model. They are not stamped bracelets like most of the edifice watches.
I got the black one. Looks killer on brown leather straps.
Bought this for my dad on his birthday, it is a real stunner in person (I'm jealous) and it is a real bang for buck piece.
The giant "Edifice" logo is the only thing preventing me from getting one.
I opted for an Oceanus, for now
If only the big seconds hand was the Chrono, it would do it for me.
Refreshing to see a quartz review
Hair everywhere
I agree, for budget watches quartz offers a great assurance of reliability.
Quartz is just nice. My two automatics become annoying when I don't wear them for more than a couple of days. My quartz watches are all just ready to go whenever I want or need them.
Quartz 👎
@@Sumerdini Nah. Way less maintenance and stuff to deal with. Enjoy fixing the time on your automatics to get the actual precise time. 🤣
Casio needs to release an all black variation of this watch 🖤
Fantastic! Thank you, Ben, for this video. I think all three colours are great... I really don't know which one I would choose. Maybe the silver one gives me "panda" feels...
Nice watch. It’s a Casio.
I do think that H.Samual need to use a bigger box, though.
Merry Christmas Ben.
It's overall great vintage looking, robust watch. I have one with the black dial. Gives an old race car driver feel on the wrist.
That is a really good contender for a one and done, one-watch collection!
Not bad looking, but could you mount the watch on a stand? Holding the watch steady is hard, and it shows.
At least they didn't put a tachymeter scale around the bezel, with the six-o'clock elapsed seconds dial. How often have we seen that with other brands? 🙂
yes they catered for your taste richard. only yours. no one else.
I like how casio does their watches. The other ones with these dials the seconds hand doesn't move unless the chronograph is running.
I like that, and am a bit shocked at the price, it seems undervalued. Gonna keep an eye on this one for sure.
That’s the same one I was eyeing up great choice!!!
It looks amazing, I absolutely love my EFR-S108D Tiffany Blue, and EFB-108D with that Stainless Steel/White dial.
As a certified Casioaholic myself this is a banger for sure. My precious!
Some idea i can give it to you is perhaps compare this with the Sugess Chronograph Primero homage, Ben. Would love to see it!
That is the nicest Casio I've ever seen!
Nice looking watch. The contrast between the face and sub-dials is standout attractive,
Been thinking about getting the somewhat similar OCW-T2600J-7AJF, but can't seem to make myself spend the money.
Andrew Morgan said in one of his videos that the Edifice logo looks like someone is swimming in a helmet, and I can't unsee it ever since.
Lol, I just bought this same watch this morning. About 100 USD via JCPenny...yeah, that place still exists. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
They look great on a black rubber strap. Cracking watch.
Been thinking about getting this.. looks great for the price!
what is your wrist size?
This exact model is available in this colour on Amazon priced at £130 at the moment.
if they remove the long text "ediffice, casio, sapphire" or move it to the back then the dial is so much cleaner and nicer !!!
Glad to have found your channel. Subscribed
Thanks for the great preview Ben! Could you share if the 24-hour subdial (top right one) can be independently set? Would love to use it as a GMT.
First saw this in an H Samuel window a few weeks ago and thought it looked really sharp, especially I think due to the 3-D effect created by the applied markers and those sub dials.

i agree, this is the best colour from the range
Merry Christmas mate
Its a beautiful watch. In India it is available for around 110 pounds after discount.
try it on a brown leather strap

they ruined the dial with the extra lettering up top
got the SEIKO twin in baby blue. I'm pretty sure changing straps on the Ediface is impossible that's why I went seiko.
proportion are spot on, build quality too. The only thing i dont like is the movement they used. You usually see these types of movements on cheap watches. Nevertheless im planning to get one
It would have been better if they made the main second hand the stop watch timer. The rest seems to be good though.
Absolutely this watch looks amazing ❤

Has anyone ever done a UV backlight?
This is almost a 1:1 to the Neo Panda from Orient

"Do you have seventeen dollars and a nice watch? - No I don't I have two dollars and a Casio! - Uhmm, I'm gonna have to say goodnight."
Looks like a Swatch Irony V8 Chronograph Moonphase (YCS441)
I just don't like the name edifice on the dial, in any givin situation. Bought allot of Casio's but edifice is so stupid!
+1
Agreed 💯
That’s the only reason I never bought one.
Agree!
Same
Would you say they are better tahn the Invicta Speedway line?
I see Zenith and Paul Newman daytona styling cues
The blue one looks like tag heuer Monaco
also looks alot like a tissot prx chronograph
I've never considered a watch versatile. :-) If it looks cool and tells time accurately, that's good enough for me. I do like this one!!
The fact the running seconds hand should be the stopwatch and small dial the running seconds is a no no from me.
I love it, but that chrono function is disappointing, especially as edifice are the racing/ sporty arm of Casio. It's virtually put me off buying one. WHY, CASIO, WHY?

It looks more like Tissot PRX chrono to me.
Looks nice, but quartz. Have enough, don’t need more.
❤Merry Christmas ❤. Wishing you continued success in 2025❤

Bit of a meme watch: Four sub-dials, but no chrono.
Beautiful ❤
Why does everyone hate the logo? Feel free to share.
If they remove the word edifice and leave the logo only that would have been much better
looks like the Panda
I got this from my son at new year eve 2025
Looks like a Timex Marlin but I think the Timex is a better looking watch
If only they were made to be Automatic.
bought both black and silver 😅
Now that's a proper dress piece!
I prefer a big-second chrono tho.

So they've copied the Seiko speedy 😮
Hmmmm. it should be Edifice in your title not Casio unboxing

Seiko SSC 911 knockoff.
☝️🥴
The Edifice name is so bad. Rolls of the tongue about as well as Oedipus. Just saying it tastes bad.
A rare thing indeed….A Casio I actually really like!
Straight up a homage or clone of the Tissot PRS515 manual chronograph
That logo on the dial though 🤢
We need a solar version of this watch.
Best
*that bracelet looks so tacky*
A nope for me. It looks like they copied SCC911 Seiko Prospex.
Good
nice
I dont like the over hang on the hands, The logo looks tacky and the strap looks cheap. All in all you can get a better watch for less money.
