    I went to the seat of government time back, met one of the politicians stating that ghanaians are foolish that is why they the politicians will keep treating us this way. I asked why and he said "because we are foolish, they give us money and we vote for them" forgetting they're going to rule us for years and can do wht ever they want once in power. Dear Everyone, we should stop pampering a politician. Tell them the truth. Let's have a change of mindset and elect people wisely, hold them accountable, failure to perform their duties, they pay for it in jail so the others will be serious with their office and respect the indigenes, also setting good moral standards for us and the nation as a whole. Ghana is sinking.

      You've perfectly summed it up! I often wonder why we surrender our power to local leaders who disregard and exploit us. They excel at exploiting and embezzling funds, disguising it as 'corruption' instead of calling it what it is - theft. We need to move beyond partisan politics and hold our leaders accountable. If we don't, the future will be even bleaker. These self-serving elites, who believe themselves above the law and accountability, will continue to shirk their responsibilities and treat us with disdain, all while evading consequences.

    Well said! The silence of those who once upon a time were all over the place criticizing one thing or the other is definitely deafening. And who were these people? Some were chiefs, spiritual leaders, CSOs, academics...everyone is now mute! At this rate, it looks like most people are just waiting for the elections in December...

    Pls pastors should understand that not all members in their church belong to their political parties.
    They divide the church with their myopic political stance.

    We need to continue speaking up, we have to wake up as a people, not to entertain mediocrity from Authority, we are those who put them there we should equally vote against them for lack of performance. Ghanaians shouldn't keep quiet again, stand up for our rigth else, we will be taking away to a foreign land in slavery. When they give you money doncollect it, dont vote for them, they need people to gain power, we need them to get ghana rise, they have to go for home wisdom. The foolishness is too much.

      And who says Pastors cant do Politics? All men and women of God are ordained to be Gatekeepers of their nations and when they see things going wrong, they must speak out so the right solutions are put forward; which affects their members welfare too...

      If you are seeing wrong or evil and you don't speak against it how do you call yourself a Christian ? Check in the bible and see why Jonah was sent by God and why he was swallowed by the big fish.

      The foolishness of the Ghanaian, the idea that political party affiliation is more important than the affairs of the state. If you believe what he is saying true then why bother about what other people think.

    • @princenanaankomah1864
      @princenanaankomah1864 4 місяці тому

      Senyo , you see National issues are solved with political decision but not pastoral opinion. If any pastor speaks for or against any government in power what that is saying he likes or doesn’t like the part in power’s approach to that political system period. I am of the opinion that church members are made of both NDC and NPP so if a pastor uses the pulpit to promote a particular party’s agenda he is sowing a kind of division in the church.That is my point. You may agree or disagree depending on where you stand.
