@@lena1341 if he wasn't good enough for Amaya, then Amaya would not have been with him in the first place. You see her being supportive to river during the audition, hugging him after he failed & wanting that walk together, that to me shows Amaya still thinks he was good for her. In general, I don't think it's cool for anyone to break up with someone just because of an external factor they had nothing to do with, hurting their feelings and then expecting that person to get back together. You're either committed or not

I mess everything up. I need a break............. a break from us." I just wonder why he needed that break in the first place and how that would solve anything? If anything, I thought he wanted Amaya to comfort him to give him back his self-esteem. If he needed some alone time, that's fine but I don't think a break up from his relationship was the answer. Idk, I mean if I was in River shoes, I would definitely want Amaya comforting me making me feel better. But the fact that he didn't want that but rather wanted to break up, did he even like Amaya in the first place? It was him that asked her out in season 1, and it was him that kissed her on the cheek too. So like how could him not making the auditions (and I guess him getting kicked out of rainbowvisionTV too) make a whole 180 on him to not like Amaya anymore, especially when she had nothing to do with his failure? Idk, I'm thinking about this too much now. And I don't know if they are back together. They did hug after the audience evacuated the auditorium, but nothing else happened after that. In the "All of the Colors" music video, you see Tessa & Alfie and Gabriella & Finn together, yet there are no scenes with Amaya & River together, so idk. With the rainbow high reboot too, we don't know if River will appear or not, so we may never know
