This was a perfect opportunity to give the Gospel for those and yes they’re on here. Who have never truly heard Gods voice and have never been genuinely born again. 😔
Diana, I just want you to know that your suggestion of praying for our country every time I see a flag has really impacted me! I have been saying "God bless America with peace, godly leadership and salvation" for months as I spot flags in yards etc.! ( I think God may be getting tired of hearing me, but I realize with the issues each day on the news, our country has a lot of people who need prayer and the Saul/Paul experience!) Thanks for your encouragement to make the world a better place beginning with small acts each day in May.. God bless you and your family!
FB Marketplace can be 'fun' but we've had way more positive than negative experiences, thankfully. Subscribed to both u and ur sister as u guys are so helpful, funny, smart, and highly entertaining; love ur content!
I have been wanting to volunteer and serve with my two boys especially while they are at home since we homeschool. But one area that has been on my mind and heart has been nursing homes.
What a great idea, Diana! I’m going to pass it along. I love, love the idea of food gift cards! I’m involved in ministry part time, and even part time it takes a lot of effort and time. But, I love serving the Lord and serving people! Blessings and Shalom!
When I turned 33 (over a decade ago 🤯) I had a “random acts of kindness party.” I organized 33 random acts of kindness. I put a post on FB a few weeks in advance asking for donations (quarters for the vacuums at the local car wash, toys & backpacks to donate the local police station to give to kids they come across in bad situations, goodies from local bakeries to give to first responders, old towels and pet food for the animal shelter, shelf stable food for the food pantry, etc.) It was my best birthday. I was flooded with various donations and I had tons of people come participate, including people I’d never met before. It was wonderful, and exhausting. 33 is a lot to do in 1 day.
Love this❤❤ such awesome ideas. I used to volunteer at a nursing home, I think I came home more blessed than I was blessing them. Also volunteered at a food shelf. It's amazing how you can go there and the atmosphere and the people you walk away with a skip to your step. The people their hearts, the kindness but also I created friendships from helping there. Also gave me a different heart so many times we can Gets stuck in our own world, but to see the needs of others put a lot of things in a different perspective. Thank you so much for encouraging us all to step out. I truly appreciate your videos your heartbeat and all that you share ❤ Thank you, Jesus for Diana and thank you for her heartbeat for you Lord and how she encourages and spreads the gospel to this world. Many days it's quiet here. And so to hear your voice to hear your giggle to hear your laughter Feels like a visit from a close friend for a moment. Much love to you and your family from a family just North of the Twin Cities.
Awesome idea!! I just caught this video. It's now August. So my idea is, I want to do this for the month of November. I have always thought of November as the month of being thankful and blessed for everything in my life! Thanks again for this wonderful idea!! Bless you and your family (including Dawn and her family) 😊 Hello from Kentucky 👋
My pastor shared an idea that if you walk your neighborhood, develop a practice of praying for the occupants of houses you pass. You do not have to know them or their needs cause He knows.
Your manner of teaching about the Lord is so calming and everyday applicable. We need to have examples of how and why the Word of God works. We need to also see the ways to apply it in everyday life. Sometimes we are in situations in life that we don't know how to get out of in a Godly manner. Thank you for the Word that works.
Awesome accomplishments with all you have on your plate- The Lord is blessing people through your perseverance ❤ As Christians we are still called to put God first and to find a way to share salvation with others, even if we are busy with all our other things… I always tell my kids that if you have time for yourself and games and reading and sports, than you have time to give back to spreading the word of Jesus🎉 My daughter recently made up blessings bags for people asking for help in our community…small tube of toothpaste, socks, wash cloth and soap, bottle of water, and a few non-perishable snacks. She does include a couple of memory verses and a track about Jesus. She offers to pray with them if the stop light time allows or meeting space…. And of course praying for them in the months following💞💫🙏🏽🫶🏼
This is a lovely thing to do. You’re such a kind hearted person. x I’ve never understood the thing about paying for someone’s shopping in the queue behind you. How do you know how much they’re going to pay? I like the buggy behind you. I much prefer tandem buggies to the side-by-side ones, especially on British pavements.
This is my struggle, too. I want to help people, but as a young mother with kids in the back seat it just doesn’t seem like good wisdom to even roll down the window anymore to hand out food/drink at intersections.
@@AHL2018 It isn't worth the risk. Besides, it encourages those who stand in the street to stand there instead of going to bona fide places like govt offices or churches to seek help.
@@amandaray1500 The Holy Spirit tells me to roll on by. There are places that can help, and those standing on the corners are putting everyone at risk. Even they could be accidently hit by a car. The intersections should be clear. It would be much safer all around.
@@elisaangel9789, it was getting bad in our area. The city started putting up signs that inform drivers to not feel pressured to give hand outs and instead contribute to sources they have listed that will help with solutions. They are strategically placed at intersections to discourage panhandlers. I’m all for obeying the Holy Spirit, but if He isn’t leading me to engage, I’m going to use the good sense He has given me and not stop. (Also, I’d go broke handing out $$. Literally every other intersection in our area has people asking daily for money). There are many other options, as Diana mentioned, that may be a safer dynamic for us young mothers to serve.
I’m planning to send flowers on Holocaust Remembrance Day (May 6th) to a Jewish gal who cleans our church expressing our deep sorrow over the treatment of the Jewish people both then and now. And telling her thank you for serving us and that we value her life.
I've done alot of reaching out the past 2 days to bless others. Instead, it has blessed ME and moved me to pray more earnestly for others. God is SO GOOD! Serving Him is a JOY!!!!!
A fun one is to lead kids to local walking areas to (carefully with gloves)pick up trash and sprinkle state flower seeds-then on subsequent walks sprinkle the seeds with water to help them establish. Over the years, people are delighted by "how well the wildflowers do here"and the kids involved over the years -and me -get a beaming smile when we walk by the beauty we helped along!

Since the card is going to the nursing home, there's no danger of giving out a 'private address'. I used to work in a nursing home, so I know "Activities" handles these types of requests (just gave myself a great idea for "service")
Thanks for the inspiration! Definitely been in a funk lately and struggling to find my purpose beyond laundry, dishes and cleaning now that the kids are both in school full time. I've always had a passion to serve but I've lost sight of it in motherhood because it can be hard to justify adding extra to my plate. But my kids are old enough to do it alongside me or I can do it myself on days they are busy. I also have been the recipient of someone doing this 5 years ago at a time in my life that meant more than she could ever know - and I often think of her for being that light in a dark time. Thank you for the push to do little things to help others every day!
My 1st grader finished her homeschool curriculum today so we are going to use our time now in May to complete the service calendar! Thank you for facilitating this beautiful idea!
I pay for the person behind me fairly oftem. I just ask how much the order behind me is. My goal is around $10. If it's more, I just get a quick $10 guft card for them to give that car. I challenge myself to do 2-3 RAKs each week. But they don't have to cost $. Sometimes, it's just kind words when you can tell someone is having a hard day.
I bought a homeless man coffee and food I offered to buy him a sleeping bag which he was grateful for and arranged to meet him at same place to bring it to him it came next day from Amazon but when I went to take it to him he wasn’t there so I’ve still got it in the back of my car 😢

I'm a Christian mom with teenagers and you have wonderful ideas for teaching kids how to serve others joyfully for the Lord.
