Merrell Wild Coast Feral Duo24 2022/ Wild Coast / 24hrs racing / Trail Run / Kayak / Mountain Bike

The Wild Coast Feral Duo24 is a 150km and 60km, 24 hour Duo (Pairs), GPS navigated, multi-disciplined race. This includes trail running, kloofing, mountain hiking, paddling and mountain biking. No ropework, zip lines or other obstacles.
They are not the classic Adventure Races (AR), but would be an incredible introduction to Adventure Racing .
The race took the top athletes 12-14 Hours and the last teams 21 hours.
The main idea is to get the athletes to GET FERAL in spectacular wilderness areas. Competitors will experience a ‘journey race’ in the most beautiful remote places we can find. Participants will be able to navigate with GPS (compulsory) which takes away the stress of having to have the skills to navigate with compass and 1:50 000 maps. This will open the doors to many athletes that felt they were unable to race because of the lack of navigation skills.
