0:56 Why are busses driving with ambers on? Is this a NY thing because I do not understand! In most other states, it's illegal to use the warning lights unless immediately approaching a stop. And at least in Wisconsin, it is illegal to use warning lights when bus is out of flow of traffic i.e. parking lots. There is a hazard switch you know :p

Does anyone know why buses with a conventional cab are more popular than the flat nose bus? Not sure what the flat nose bus is called. Where is the engine on a flat nose bus?
Flat noses you can order them with either the engine in the front or the rear. the reason there not used much in my opion is because drivers just perfer conventional buses
+zachary lampman is right! In my oppinon I think Flatnoses especially FE's are dangerous because on FE's your engine is right next to you and if it explodes your dead! And RE's can be dangerous for the kids in the last rows because if you have rear impact the engine can posible go throught the back. And also Any flatnose may have a better turning radius but if you hit a pole or a wall you are screwed! I am a CE anf C2 fan and those are the only buses I like but If I am getting a Flatnose I would get an IC FE or RE, or a Thomas EFX or HDX

I thought the advantage of a flat nose truck or bus was a shorter wheelbase, tighter turning radius and better visibility, but I guess they just don't sell well. Maybe the flat front end makes them less fuel efficient.
