I just rode this for the first time and it is more thrilling than it looks. It's far from the most intense coaster in the park sure, but I was expecting Big Thunder Mountain essentially and it's definitely a step above that.
My fear of roller-coasters is not the ride itself but the problems with my health I have central vertigo I was born that way and migraines and I have the fear of fainting on a roller-coaster that is my fear.
When I was 4-5 (I can’t remember) years old I LOVED this ride. When my brother was 4 we took him on this ride, and now he hates riding roller coasters. We are core opposites, and now I’m a rolercoster dare devil
@@Mr_cheese-kh9lm I used to. I quit not too long after making that comment because a higher paying work from home job came along. That was actually a really common rollback spot during rainy weather and the main reason why during heavy rains Firechaser blocks off the middle two rows on each train.
@@Mr_cheese-kh9lm It was a pretty good experience to work there at least for a little while. Definitely don't make a career out of it, but the experience is something I wholeheartedly recommend. Just stay far away from working in food LOL
I really hope that the industry one day decides to adopt the sniglet for those things on the lift hill that go kachunk; and officially calls them coasternets.
Hiya, I'm going to Dollywood next week, and I was wondering if this is a good beginner/starter roller coaster for someone who is slowly trying to overcome their fear of rollercoasters.
absolutely! i used to be terrified of rollercoasters and this is one of the first i rode and it really helped me. i don’t know if you’ve already gone to dollywood or not but i would definitely recommend it!!
The thunderhead one got me past I just went on it today this one was last one I did before duplicates it was really fun and I thought that backwards was the scariest part but it was actually the lest scary ones
dude, shut up i live in knoxville and many families enjoy dollywood and if you think that dont say it so others start a fight i betcha for a madder o fact you have not been here my big bro has been going since 2009 and hes really enjoyed it and so have i so like i said, dont make arguements because its sinning.
The designers had some fun with this one
I’m really not surprised that this is the most popular ride in the park. It really hits the spot with any person!
Hamster Haven there are even better rides in the park
Raine Jarvis I agree, but the ride is so good that there’s nobody that won’t enjoy it
Lightning rod has left the chat
Dollywood has some real fun and creative rides. I'd love to visit this park soon.
As someone who used to go every single summer for YEARS, it's super cool. Definitely recommend going if you ever get the chance.
This is me and my wif'es favorite chill ride at Dollywood. Very fun and smooth!
I just rode this for the first time and it is more thrilling than it looks. It's far from the most intense coaster in the park sure, but I was expecting Big Thunder Mountain essentially and it's definitely a step above that.
This was the first one I rode last week. I actually liked it...wasn't expecting to go backwards.
I'm glad I didn't watch this video before I went last Monday, I had no idea!

Same!! Like literally that is how I got over it
My fear of roller-coasters is not the ride itself but the problems with my health I have central vertigo I was born that way and migraines and I have the fear of fainting on a roller-coaster that is my fear.
SAMD
That last switch track is pretty cool.
I’m disabled and so my ability to ride coasters is limited. I’m able to ride this one and it’s probably my favorite coaster!

Well that's different. A non shuttle coaster that enters the station on the same side it left. Cool.
Remember whenever this ride first opened, I was probably 6 or something, took like forever, still pretty fun
gerstlaurer makes some kick ass family coasters
When I was 4-5 (I can’t remember) years old I LOVED this ride. When my brother was 4 we took him on this ride, and now he hates riding roller coasters. We are core opposites, and now I’m a rolercoster dare devil
I think this and big bear mountain are supposed to be family/“kiddie” coasters but they’re both SO FUN.
Such a fun ride....the 50% of the time it's working.
Just like Lightning Rod.
B King , it’s usually working do
squares4u , now it’s open mostly so yay!!! Get there early and there’s no line
B King 51% its behaved this year compared to last year 😂 . Source: an employee that works on that ride.
It’s literally not worth the wait
My parents tooke me to Dollywood when I was 3, and I went on this ride... I screamed and cried. I was terrified for no reason
I Rode That When I Was at Dollywood In 2023 And I was Freaking Out So Much Because It Went So Fast And I Cryed When It Was About to End

this was my favorite ride besides the lightning rod at dollywood!!!
I love how this ride has a q siren playing in the background
What a fabulous ride. Love Dollywood
My fav is the Tennessee tornado, I like mystery mine but it bangs you're head around
If the train didn’t make it past the hill at 2:03 would it be a roll back or a roll forward? 🤔
James Fuller it would be a pain in the rear for us because we’d have to go get them 😂
@@UltimaJC u work there?

The guy saying "ay" every few seconds is relatable.
Every Dollywood vid is my fav
That looks like a great ride.

Absolutely. I’m a punk, but this is great!!! Not many drops, and it just feels fun. :)
Absolutely. This is one of the best attractions at Dollywood in my opinion. It’s just thrilling enough without being terrifying.

Not really.
I road thunderhead, lightning rod, tennessee tornado, and wild eagle and I still scream on this roller coaster?? This thing is amazing lol

Doollwood
Make a 360 video so it is more realistic
Honestly, I thought it was going to track backwards and not just that little bit
What did u use to record?
I love d
It look like pégase express at Astérix in France
A firefighting roller coaster
Yass
Hhat are the things that stick out of the track at 1:11 and 2:13?
was wondering the same thing while riding
They slow the the ride down just a bit
I know right hun
So scary and stuff
Dollywood lightningrod
My first ride was mystrey mind
Theres not mutch theaming though
they have a FIRETRUCK in there mate

Krakaton vuqano park
1:12 why does it have a stop station
Savannah Penn cause they’re lame
Capacity. To run more trains
it’s called a break run not a stop station dumbass
Disappointingly tame.
The exposure in this video is really bad
Magic817 it’s not easy to fix exposure with moving film, it’s a lot of work and he doesn’t have time for all that lmao.
Weak
It’s called a family coaster
LAME
Cabungalow Labungalow is it too scary for you
You probably think Wild Eagle is the scariest ride ever
Slow and boring
Maybe she should have continued her singing career and not build a amusement park that always has problems
Trevor Grabarek With all due respect, which is very little, you're an idiot.
