    Love you, no teacher in engineering could teach me and you teach me all of it in just a few minutes,
    Love you, and don't worry about your accent it's enough for one to understand...
    Keep it up,

    I wish we saw examples of what you briefly explained about 3D at 8:40-8:54 (since almost all available examples about Mohr's Circle are about 2D cases).

    Please decrease the speed of the video to .75 (or as required) if you think it's too fast.
    Everyone's voice is provided by the 'Divine Power'. Instead of making fun of the video owner, we can appreciate his smart work and time for imparting knowledge to all of us.

    In the 2D analysis you mentioned that the sign convention is found by looking at the direction of shear stress parallel to the vertical axis. So, Txy is pointing up on the right and down on the left. Isn't that ACW? So shouldn't that value of shear stress at sigma,y be negative and sigma,x be positive?

    • @amoghmangalam3130
      @amoghmangalam3130 8 років тому

    can u please tell me what is the origin point to measure maximum normal stress and minimum normal stress on principal plane in graphical method? because if it is the origin of X-Y axis then (σ1-σ2)/2 will not be the radius of Mohr's circle.

      In that case, may be you should go find videos where you'll possibly understand what the lecturer is talking about instead of wasting time here.

      Hopefully they have newer videos where the person speaking is from America, or can be understood.
      Let me help you out... *maybe

      Yo, sup, this is the best explanation ever! But in order to understand it, you need to solve a random mohrs circle problem. I guarantee this will be awesome after solving a problem first. And when you watch this, you know what you just did.. just copy a guy on the Web here with a random problem:)

      Not in all cases, usually we are interested in finding the maximum values, so you need to draw 3 mohr's circle choosing every combination from 3 mutually perpendicular planes and choose maximum in it
