Synopsis:
An arrogant third master of a powerful family falls in love at first sight with a pretty young maiden, and he uses every means possible to force her hand in marriage, despite her harboring a crush on another man. In the beginning of a coerced marriage, she resents him and rejects all his advances and gestures of love, but their love story slowly develops after going through obstacles in times of war and chaos. Before this episode,they were very polite towards each other...with Lian Kai teasing her a little then and then. But it was clear there was quite a strain in their marriage and it finally became 100% clear how badly toxic their marriage actually is in this episode. Lian Kai is unable to openly love someone since everything his mother ever teached him about love was that never succumb to it first,because only then you become the slave. But still,he naively thought that Qin Sang would come to love him over time...currently he knows there is another man in her heart. The unhappiness and miserable pain in loving someone who loves another man is slowly eating his soul. He wants to kill his love for Qin Sang...but he knows it is impossible. He will only ever love Qin Sang until his last breath.
