Ilya Gringolts // Heinz Holliger´s "Ciacconnina"

For the 25th Jubilee of the Musical Olympus Foundation outstanding violinist Ilya Gringolts shares with us his interpretation of Heinz Holliger´s "Ciacconnina".

Most recently Ilya Gringolts with a selection of likeminded people has launched the I & I Foundation. This foundation will actively nurture the creativity of contemporary composers, by commissioning 15-20 works every year. We wish Ilya the best ideas and a lot of success!

On the 5th of June 2020 Ilya Gringolts was supposed to perform together with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra under Vasily Petrenko during the Musical Olympus Festival.
