Actually, yellow nails for trolls is canon! You can see them in the flashes [s] Make Her Pay (vriska's nails in the very beginning and Terezi's nails in the middle) and [s] Jade Enter (near the end on Karkat's hands).

Yes! We are the same people who will be at animinneapolis. Many of us will be returning, but unfortunately a few of us won't be and will be replaced by new people, such as Eridan, Feferi, Dave, Jade and a few others. We will have the same rating as this Panelstuck, so there will be approximately the same amount of cursing.

I know I have nothing to do with what you or he said, and I actually agree with you with most of the tings you said, except the last line: "If you want to crit, be nice about it." First of all, he was nice in his crit, but you just took it the wrong way, and second, you don't make a good crit by being nice, you make a good critic by being honest, and by... you know, saying what's wrong with it. That doesn't mean you have to be mean about it though. Great job with all that btw, it was great :)

Yeah, but since the dude said "please don't take it the wrong way", I'm sure he didn't mean to be rude or anything, I gues he just didn't say it the right way. Bluh whatever I don't really care anymore, the point is, that was freaking awesome, I have no idea who did that, but it is clear there was lots of work put into it, and it was very well planed. Even if I kind of agree with Hinsai, some people weren't really acting that great... And some voices didn't fit... At all... But yeah.
I love homestuck, and I don't mind people playing the roles... please don't take this the wrong way, it's just my own opinion. But I feel if you cannot successfully pull of a character: looks and attitude, don't even bother trying.
It seems to be in my experience that when someone says "please don't take this the wrong way" it's something that will be taken poorly anyway. In that case, it's probably not good to say anything at all or to reevaluate how you're going to word something. Anyway, thanks. I agree that there were people who don't have as much experience for acting, but voices are harder to argue if they're right or wrong, since that's all opinion. FYI, I'm not mad or anything, it was a good discussion. :)

It's cool to feel that way and it's ok to feel like they did a bad job. But my friends and I are all on that cast so I'm obviously going to defend them. I don't hate critics but there's a time and place for that sort of thing. This was pretty obviously not professionally done, and was done by a group of friends. If you want to discuss the faults of the panel, and what you think could be improved, we can do that over message-I will probably agree with you. In comments might not be the best place.

In my opinion, "don't bother trying" is pretty rude. I agree that you need to be honest in a crit, but that doesn't mean you can't be nice about it. There's a difference between saying "don't bother trying" and saying "get some practice in before doing it."

Last I checked, most people feel this way except the person playing a character, or the people sympathizing with said person. I understand if you want to dress up, have a good times with friends, and just goof around, that's fine. But when you make it public as a panel, you're not only insulting the creator of those characters, but the fan base as well.
I'm allowed to have my own opinion here, if you guys don't agree with it, then you have my apologies.
If you want to critique someone's performance, that's fine, but this is just a passive aggressive comment on it, and it's also kind of rude. People can't get better if they don't try, and there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff that doesn't get seen in the panel, such as people not committing to being in the panel, having to find characters at the last minute because people weren't dedicated or couldn't do it, and a few other things that I won't get into. If you want to crit, be nice about it.
