Congrats, Sam :D I'm so happy for you! I hope it all goes well with having the other doctor approve your bloods. My 1st GIC appointment was definitely like your 1st Gendercare one with all the questions and what you spoke about. Looking forward to seeing more videos!

+Andrew Jude Thank you Andrew, I appreciate it! I'm eagerly awaiting my report which was hopefully meant to come in by tomorrow! Maybe once everything gets started, we could film that private vs NHS comparison collab we talked about that one time?

I'm planning to go through gender care too and I really want to start T as soon as possible, but I have literally just connected the dots and realised if I wanted to freeze eggs, I need to do this before T & that costs thousands unless I wait for Nhs route.
    Oh my god.
I need T, but I wanted the possibility for biological children.

+Jude Hey! Yeah it's a big one for people who want to have biological children. You can always harvest eggs once you have started T but the already low chance of fertility would get lower and youd have to stop hrt and take some E for a while. Big decisions. Are you on an NHS waiting list?

when you first emailed Gendercare how long did it take them to reply with an appointment date?

+Robin Davies About 3 weeks or so. But it varies so much and their system is different now.

TheSamThatIAm thanks! Just got a confirmation email from them and it said the reply should come around 10 days or more so guess that's about right. Love your videos btw!

Hey, thank you! I realised when I was around 19 as I went to university and a lot of things clicked for me. It was definitely a process and involved a lot of denial but once I knew... I knew.
