- you have to be strong at math and logic, it's okay to not be a perfect one, but don't be too weak in math and logic. this is the basic thing..
If you are going to pursue computer science in engineering,
there is nothing as particular to know some "prior knowledge". It's okay & in college or university you will eventually learn things.
but if you are insisting I'll tell you - know just the basic things of Java or python. again I'm not saying to be perfect at it, but basic knowledge will help you in your first year. It will be okay even if you can't grasp it. If you can grasp it, practice simple programs like addition, multiplication, hello world program, fibonacci series, prime numbers, matrix, array, palindrome programs.
I can suggest you a simple software for beginners that is Notepad (you can code it in HTML format) or BlueJ is a Java practicing software for beginners.
No need to worry if you don't understand some of these terms, you can search them on internet.
- these are very basic & simple programs yet if you can't understand you don't need to worry, go & take your time in understanding it.
And just a friendly reminder ❤️
- right now if you are an entrance exam preparing student, I think you should focus on daily studies first. You can secure a good rank & admission and then you can learn about these things :)
