On Golden Pond

What a busy day on the pond
The carp have been spawning all day. The waterhen isn’t amused as they are thrashing around near the nest which has already been raised due to all the rainfall.
The hens sadly lost one egg in the rebuilding process. One hatched this morning & we are waiting for the second which is almost there
I last checked an hour ago. Just listen to how loud it squeaks from within the egg!!!! Thunder storms are forecast again for tonight!
