Great video, as an avid mushroom forager and teacher I would warn that some of the varieties you picked have toxic lookalikes and this is not warned about in your video which could be harmful to novice foragers. Would love to see a remake discussing this. . Would like to see more from you!
Dustin that was super cool. Very much enjoyed that. I love mushrooms and wish I could do that, but you have to know what you can eat. Wish you would have showed us some of the poisonous mushrooms so we know what not to pick. Well done mate. Keep up the great work. Thanks for introducing us to your friend.
Dustin, please be very careful if you do this in the future without your friend - MANY lookalikes of these species are poisonous. Please warm your viewers about this. I love foraging too, but only with experts.
oh yeah another dustin movie to watch, shroom hunting in the woods, will be cooking good for days.. we did the helicopter kebab with kids yesterday .. winner winner kids loved it ..cheers again dustin bushcraft tools winner winner
I enjoy when I find morels, but as I do not know anyone around my area that can teach safe mushroom hunting I do not do much mushroom hunting... I used to grow oysters and buttons
Awesome mushrooming video and really great information. Me, I love mushrooms but it does seem the texture puts many off. You both ended up with quite a big basket full. Sepchup, now that sounds interesting. Such a wonderful range of species. 👍❤
Great forage for mushrooms and a good selection to. Loved the Asian homemade dip presuming you used your Scotch Bonnet's as you said they where homegrown? Looked like a varied woodland to which is great to find more species of mushrooms. Great video Dustin and cheers Lee for the great info to.
Really enjoyed that mate. Only heard a cep referred to as a penny bun though - think it's the same? Keen to learn more about fungi so thanks very much for putting this one together 👍
@@BUSHCRAFTTOOLS we didn't find as much as what you did. We were looking for Amanita muscaria but they were just to elusive. We found lots of stink hornes, millions of common puff balls, some paxillus and a couple of bolete that had (after Asking on mushroom spotters UK) been overtaken by a another fungus and a couple I've not been able to ID yet.
Thanks, Dustin and Lee for the edible mushrooms. I DO love cooked mushrooms as well as raw. It always reminds me of Tolkien's Hobbits and their love of mushrooms in their third or fourth breakfasts! You're terrific, Dustin. I'd love to see you team up with Mike a bit more for your creative feasts and overnighters.
I haven't found Boletus edulis this season yet. You've found a very good nice edible ones. Have you found them now? I use to find all of those species in the autumn, but for now the woods are still dry, no mushrooms to be found yet...
Back in the 80's while at university, party night, felt ill, hugged toilet in old house, rotten wood floor boards under commode had a nice patch of fungus growing. Reaffirmed my loathing of cappy treats. I wonder if they were edible.
Gosh, you've found enough to start your own supermarket, Dustin you really found it funny dropping that mushroom, you laughing made me giggle lol. Another great video.. thank you
Hi Dustin, hope your alright pal, I've been trying to catch up on your video's since being unwell, I'm getting back to myself (day by day) I can't wait for the next bushcraft show (I hope your going to go). Do you sell any of your deer hides? If you do or would could you email or private message me 👍 Thank you. Take care, stay safe & sending much love my friend 🙂👍

Great to see your channel being featured on the UA-cam Trending page and highlighted as 'Creator on the Rise'. That's awesome Dustin, congrats.
What a fun video how exciting to find expensive mushrooms growing in the wild. I live where there are a lot too but I don’t trust eating any.
Nice video Dustin. Your videos, always amazing.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate that. I'm making a scotch bonnet sauce at the moment.
@@BUSHCRAFTTOOLS that will be sauce to warm you up on he colder night....lol
Loved this video Dustin! Woodland imagery, foraging for food, great information, fantastic!
Little re-upload, i really liked this episode last time i saw it! Amazing job.
Nice to see a friend of yours and his dogs running with Amber. Impressive haul of mushrooms in a glorious woodland.
Shouldn't you use a knife to cut the mushroom off at the base to leave the "root" of mushroom in ground for more later?
It doesn't really matter from what I hear, you're not damaging the mycelium underneath the earth so it just fruits more mushrooms anyways.
Great video! I'm a shroomer myself! I love filling my basket. Enjoy!
Hi Dustin my favate mushrooms blewit and porcini ,beautiful great video looking forward to more

Thanks Dustin and Lee for this very informative video! 👍😁
Brilliant. I spent a day mushroom hunting yesterday.
Nothing better than crawling through the undergrowth looking for them.
Great video 🍻
How did you get on?

🇨🇦My favourite mushroom is the puffball. It’s incredibly delicious and rich, so you can’t eat a lot of it.
Lovely. Thank you very much. 👏👏👏
Your foraging videos are as good as your cooking videos. Very well done and enjoyable, and I am definitely getting a lanyard, at least. Cheers.
Thanks for watching
Oregon is awesome for mushroom hunting. Loved the info

Haha, note that many corn is grown for animal feed and even though they're edible, they don't taste nice.
