Hoped to see you can actually bind sample A to F together and play at the same time. So only chance is to put Engine 2 into place for overlaps. But the trick with Sample Pick + LFO is great! The more I learn about Pigments the more I fall in love with it. The possibilities are endless.
trying to load my own samples into pigments and having trouble. when i go to import, the wavs i want to import are grayed out, even though pigments says i can use wavs in its sampler. any ideas on what's happening?
Here's what the manual says about the sample requirements: "Imported files may be in WAV or AIFF format, 16 or 24 bits, and at sample rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz. The maximum sample duration is limited only by the amount of RAM in your computer." Sounds like one of those requirements isn't being met
I think you said that changing the loop length doesn't change the length while the key is pressed...that seems to be wrong. While holding a key the loop length and speed changes if you drag the loop end marker. Maybe I misinterpreted.
@@OneManAndHisSongs you are most likely correct. I love automating length to create exponential, squelchy, and sometimes chittering type sounds as heard from Tipper or Mr. Bill.
Great video again! Thanks man!!! Thanks to you I'm taking my productions to the next level! Thank you so much!
That's great to hear, thanks for the feedback :)

Is there a way to play samples randomly to generate some percussion stuff?

Yes, but only up to 2 velocities per key. It's covered in this video (about 10 mins in)

Weird. It was definitely not updating for me at the time. Perhaps they've fixed it in an update. Or my PC hates me. Probably that :)
