I can’t name something KOC has genuinely improved on when it comes to his scheme. If he needs 2 star WRs, a star studded OL, a star studded QB, a star RB to succeed, he is no offensive genius. He needs to adapt. We can extend him but he doesn’t deserve top 8 money. When you watch the tape, guys were running open and that’s on Sam when those opportunities were there. But the part that’s on KOC is it takes more than 3s for those openings to happen. KOC needs to adapt.
Our future is bright proud of the season we had. Now on to the next . But I don't want Sam back it was good while it lasted. Let's fix all our weaknesses and get back on the grind
I know we can look back and point fingers on why we failed. But along with dissecting all those reasons still am excited about the future. Is KOC perfect.. no! But the talk about firing him is crazy. He came into a fractured locker room and pulled this team together. This was a team that believed in each other .. fought for each other. And I agree Rap with you .. believe KOC is not Zimmer who stood firm .. and no changes .. his way or no way! KOC will learn from this season .. work on improving. Just my opinion.. believe we are so close to that next level for this team!! It was a fun exciting season.. one we will remember! So yes there can be constructive criticism.. we all know there is work to be done! I do not want to sign Darnold especially with a large contract. This will be an interesting off season for sure! Missing wide open receivers has nothing to do with play calling.Don't let the door hit you going out the door Sam.... Don't get me wrong, O'Connell's play calling is an issue, too.

If KAM and KOC can fix the oline and gets the vikings in to the playoffs 2 years in a row, they would officially separate themselves from Zimmer and Spielmen and I will have full faith in them. But If they can't it will be another 4 years of the same stuff and then they will eventually get fired. But I have hope they will fix what needs fixing this off-season and the vikings will be better next year because one thing a lot of people forget is this was technically a rebuild year and the vikings still managed to get 14 wins with a cast off QB and the oldest secondary in the league. If they fix the trenches on both sides get younger and more talented in the secondary and get a RB that can take some of the load off of Jones they will have no excuses anymore. The team is built just missing a few pieces
Kwesi is the only dude on the hot seat from where I am sitting, You will never win in this league if you cannot draft, Only having 2 legit starters in 3 years and one being a kicker and the other was a first round WR, Dallas turner barely played meaningful downs and JJ McCarthy was hurt all year, not to mention the entire 2022 draft class isn't even in purple anymore and 2023's draft class isn't to far off from the same thing its a BIG issue since drafting and the research and scouting before the draft is a massive part of his job, I understand the likely hood you hit on some of these picks are low but the vikings need Depth more then anything the ability to have a next man up mentality because if they started losing players throughout the season you can tell play drops off dramatically examples are Black Cashmen missing those two games or the Run game being non existent without Aaron Jones out there among other issue's it has caused them, Good Thing Kwesi is 50/50 with first rounders hitting and Dallas Turner didn't really look like a first round talent this year Might mean McCarthy is about to be the next coming of John Elway guess we'll see Next year!
Is KOC perfect no? But he is getting blamed for way more than he should be. People are so reactionary, which is understandable because we all want to win. However, this notion that he should be fired is crazy! There are teams who would be willing to trade for him.
