Keyport has always been a great town.Been going here since the sixties, lived most of my life in S. Old Bridge. Launched my boat from the municipal marina, gettin Mike's subs, eating at Burlew's and Mc Donagh's , one of the best towns on the Bayshore, as good as Atlantic Highlands.

John, thanks for this video trip through Keyport, a town I love and also just happened to visit today. I've recently read your book, A Historical Journey Across Raritan Bay, it's a fine journal and documentary of the historic region it truly is. I have a niece and her husband who have lived in Port Monmouth for nearly twenty years, minus the 1.5 years they had to vacate due to Sandy, and then moved back to an elevated house. My brother Mike and his wife bought their first house in Belford 1995 then moved to Howell in 2002. Incidentally, I'm a retired AT&Ter, and I know you are as well, thanks again for your fine work.

When I was a young boy, me and my biological mother moved from Keansburg to Keyport to live in a new apartment. The apartment itself has 1 living room, 1 kitchen and dining room, 1 bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. I still have good memories of living in an apartment with my biological mother, but I still missed my hometown to this very day since she passed away.

My grandfather & step grandmother George & Kitty Samuelson lived there from their wedding in 1965 until he died in 1991. I'm a native of nearby East Keansburg and I still have memories there as a little kid in the 80s. I don't recognize Keyport that much in the present.

Beautiful, this is my hometown, I was born in Riverview Hospital, Red Bank NJ then I lived my childhood years between this beautiful town and PR. I attended Keyport Central and Keyport High School for my Junior year, The last time I was there it was 1986 and I was seventeen years old, Many years have passed but the town is still so beautiful.

I loved living here after me and hubby got married back in 1990. We got a 1 bedroom apartment in Keyport Village Club. Loved it here. My Uncle Harry Aumack is the Mayor there. Him and Aunt Elain before she passed were very well know in Keyport. We had my son Tommy and he spent part of his life here until we moved to Matawan Terrace apartments. Wish we stayed in Keyport until we bought the house here in the Burg.

Really arrogant remark. Keep it to yourself next time, ok? Take your class war somewhere else, Keyport is one of the most historic and charming towns in Monmouth Cty, New Jersey and the country.
