Very obvious is when you send it for cleaning and certain percentage of colour will diminish. Handknotted, especially those with high knot count will outlive the owner
So much abuse took place from the presence of international aid agencies in the country in under the name of promotion of Afghani Carpets specifically by few certain individuals, millions of 💵 were vanished but the necessary required steps and subsequent results were never achieved, unless one had connections with high ranking gov officials. Prove me wrong if you can!
