Thanks for the video, it was very helpful! I just picked up the same canoe at an auction and the seats were in bad shape. Using your technique, I was able to add new webbing pretty easily. One tip I would add, is using a small pair of channel lock pliers to really get a tight fit. Going by the HUL ID # was able to determine mine was made In February of 1973.
Hey thanks so much for sharing this. My Dad gave me an aerocraft and seats need to be redone. Was clueless how to go about this till I watched this video 👍
Thanks for posting this -- I'm tackling mine now. Cut the straps to remove the clips "backwards" -- that's my big learning! Was considering using something more "exotic" than that cheap chair webbing but I may just go for it this way.
I’m looking for eight clips as well. I haven’t found them on the Internet, would greatly appreciate it if someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks
Great video, working on ours in the garage right now! The trick seems to be keeping proper tension; so far I’m not happy. Did you develop a technique? Thanks?
Shannon O'Neal I did, I believe that I shorted the strap about a quarter of an inch before clamping down. The first few I put on I had to cut off and start over again because they were too loose

Doing exactly this job this weekend, thanks for a helpful video.
Thanks for this video. Just what I needed!
Scott Jenkins you’re welcome!
Thanks for the video, just used it to repair mine. :) Also now know that the canoe I thought was a Grumman is an Aerocraft. :)
Where can I get the clips? Several of mine seem to be warped, etc.... Any suggestions appreciated.
I am missing one of the clips for my Aerocraft canoe. I've looked on the internet with to no avail. Any ideas?

I am looking for the spring clips, as my boat is missing a few. Any ideas? Thanks.
I believe Frost King makes the same type of clips.
I have same exact canoe. Great Video!!!!! Can you tell me what size webbing, how much did you purchase it, and where did you purchase it?
I think it was 2.5" uv protected lawn chair strap, about 25' as I recall?
+Duvelmademedoit on ebay

Roger Adkins , same experience. Thanks for the great video. I’m done, it came out well - and it was all inspired by your video.
Shannon O'Neal thank you, glad it helped!
Sorry I don't, fortunately I never lost any.
