The background music makes it even more dramatic. Loved it when she said "to stop listening to other people's opinions". That's what's called artistic freedom and it's not so easy to be free as one might think.
This was absolutely wonderful to watch and I love the way she thinks. Her thoughts bleed out onto the canvas so effortlessly. The way she approaches a piece so loosely and with little to no planning with regard to color and form is hugely inspiring. It's like her muse is the body and other adjectives like strength and force, but essentially she lets the ultimate meaning manifest itself on its own. Incredible.
They would make great small illustrations - way too big. Would be interesting to know if it’s the gallery wanting to fill space or if Liz really feels they need to be that size.
@@bodeaalex1142 Oh Karen. Who's bitter? Does she make more money than me? How do you know this? Did I point out she's a woman? I said I love the process and the financial outcome. So it's strange you seem to equate making money and having a vagina as negative. Weird.
Hi! How are you? In Korea/Seoul, the temperature and wind were cool as if it were early autumn from the morning of the 16th. Of course, it's still midsummer... I wish you good health and good things for the rest of the week. Thank you.

VERY NICE TO SEE AND ARTSIT AT WORK. JUST DITCH THAT NASTY BACKGROUND MUSIC. I DOUBT SHE HAD THAT ANNOYING MUSIC PLAYING IN HER STUDIO AS SHE WAS WORKING. JUST THE SOUND OF BRUSHES AND PENCILS ARE FINE!
Because its BIG does that mean its "ART" , Ok the Sistine Chapel that is a whole different ball game , totally different universe. Do you get more money if its bigger ?
I do wonder why the galleries are seen as architects in showing art, when it is more than clear that they are only some kind of lousy middleman. The houses exists before them and the new owner will live in it without them. So why do we artists need a broker? About Luise Bonnet: I think she fits perfect for Gagosian. Destroying the harmony by over weighting individual layers. I like it - but i don't like it to be announced by Gagosian. The gallery adds a spice she does even not think about.
You comment is the most lazy on the internet. Reality is that you are also never going to go public with anything. Because you are afraid that the world is going to see the truth. That you are the one who is a boring coward. Your envy of other people that have the guts to create something instead of just beeing a keyboard jockey is the real joke on the internet.
Imagine being held prisoner in an illegal and covert AI training programme where every fleeting irrelevant thought is analysed and taken seriously you are thus crippled and left unable to work.
!st why so big? It would be better small. This is the sort of thing they were teaching at my art college in the 70s completely unsaleable art with no meaning . So disappointing for my peers and I. Paint like that and go broke and burden your family.

Amazing video. She is one of the greats.
This is not great art.
Who is this gargantuan work appealing to? It needs a warehouse just to be able to display it. It's cerebral sign painting.
So Inspring me.. Thank you
From Thailand
I'm impressed, I even imagined the smell of paint, great works smell.
Excelente trabajo!!
Wonderful volumes.
absolutely breathtaking

Her sense of color makes me feel bad. She's so good!

reification and transcendence in tandem! Great work(ing)!
Great art!.
Don`t listen to the haters
Incredible ❤️❤️❤️
Anyone knows the name of the canvas brand she’s using? Thank You
They might have been purpose built and (therefore) unbranded.
? Why does that matter?
wunderbar 🎨❤️🎨❤️🎨❤️🎨❤️🎨❤️🎨❤️
Very interesting.
Best part of the video is the tube squeezer

Great promo vid Gagosian. I love how the process intersects with the financial outcome.
Don't be bitter Kevin. We know she makes more money than you and she's a woman.

Is she a fan of the band?
Don’t you think we the viewer would like to witness the painting process to completion??????
Fun
Je ne comprends pas… c est quoi ce dessin en grand ? Une caricature?
à la demande de la galerie peut etre?
un bon nombre de raisons aussi, on supposé

Cant shake off that bacon obsession huh

Qui est-ce qui ouvre la porte de l'eglise?
hopefully she can pay for her habit
Who's paying for yours?
painful
horrible background music, it takes away from the art
The music is so disturbing. Gagosian, this isn't a horror movie.
🤣💀💀💀👍🏼🤣

It’s not. It’s understandable that it doesn’t appeal to everyone, but it’s quite interesting.

If the market can support it, do it if you like it. Those broke days are over. Stop living in the past.
