That's because in UMVC3 the move isn't translated like in dmc. Dimension Slash is the literal translation for Jigenzan (the japanese name of the move) which in dmc is translated like Judgment Cut :')
@@Mondrws1 there was no translation for this move in dmc3 because it was only usable by boss vergil. Umvc3 got the names for all the moves from dmc3 and this one was just translated as dimension slash.
I used to think the same thing until recently. Its just a much weaker form of JCE as he's not moving as fast as he does when he gets older and uses JCE.
