Elderly man quoted $3000! to chop some trees, young man comes to the rescue

- What a job this turned out to be, I can’t believe prior to me he was quoted that much! Let’s just say I saved this elderly man thousands and was happy too. We got bogged in the back field where we were disposing of the green waste! too bad it wasn't captured on camera. I was blessed my son came with me to get it done. All in all it took us about FIVE hours of hard work but we got there in the end. I will return to finish the garden with a load of mulch bark to tidy it all up. Wow so much Wysteria vine, it was growing through the house! we were nearly buried in it. IM just glad we had the Milwaukee Pruning saw that I recently purchased - all I can say, it EXCEEDED my expectations especially with the awesome battery life.

What you did was great and looks terrific! I thank you for helping this man! There is something I need to point out, if any part of the wisteria root remains, it will grow back, as is for the hardwoods, you cut down, Those will eventually grow back, especially the juniper, I used to do landscaping here in Pennsylvania USA and I was paid similar to dig out the tree roots and removal of the trees. I wish you all the best! Bless you in all you do!
Yes I feel the wysteria will be an ongoing battle..it was growing underneath the house!
The little saws are amazing. I got the Stihl one and an extra battery. Used it for taking down a fair few trees hanging over our club house and didn't get through 1 battery. I did have my big one for the trunk but everything else was cut with the hand held one.

Battery operated tools have come a long way in the last few years .I bought one of the Ego weed eaters and I love it .I have had shoulder issues so I don’t want to mess with a hard to crank gas weed eater.
You should get yourself a clippers that way you would not have to cart so much away and it helps the garden beds so a win win

And I thought that £600-£700 to cut down and get it off my yard of a pretty tall conifer was a lot of money. I still think it's a lot of money, that's probably why it's still there. It is very odd how you can hate a tree.
@@jeannewheeldon6796 I know the feeling. We have a big acorn tree out back that's leaning towards the house. If it falls it's going to land smack dab on top of the house. They want way too much to cut it. We're just in limbo with it.

The quote was probably for the removal of the whole trees roots and all, it is time consuming and real hard work, but it look good for the moment.

Some of those oldies have a lead foot the way they sped past you, I feared for your safety working on a corner. I really need one of those saws, I keep telling hubby we need one.

@@mowitmick hubby keeps telling me the one he has on a stick does the job but watching you guys using the hand held one, it looks much more versatile. Might have to sneak down to Bunnings and buy myself one 😁. I would have to get ryobi though so I can use hubbies batteries.

TIM from Canada reciprocating saw can do the same thing as that chainsaw…. you do not have to worry about putting the oil in your chainsaw. Do you not have to worry about changing out your chain when you have reciprocating saw… Milwaukee M18 fuel reciprocating saw can do the same thing

Sad to see those beautiful trees 8:51 cut and taken away. Poor babies. I would have rescued them if I was there. Its so not fair, they did not do anything to anyone.
I agree it wasn’t great. However the retirement village recycles the green waste by mulching it and returning it to garden beds and landscaping etc that’s where I was taking the branches to be disposed.
Wisteria vine is beautiful... BUT it will tear down fences, bust brick and block footings. You can plant it 100 ft from your house and then find it busting up your footings. Bad plant.

It’s extremely well made, I’ve had a couple negative comments about it which baffles me because it’s simply a great piece of equipment, I’m onto my third job with the same battery I used in this vid! Haven’t recharged yet albeit the other jobs weren’t as demanding simply some minor pruning.

Client should have had you remove all those bushes/trees. Would have looked better removed and wouldn't scratch cars driving by. You might want to get a tarp to pile on the branches and drag it to the truck instead of wearing yourself out with numerous trips. Save your energy and work smarter not harder. Nice job.

The complex has its own green waste disposal where they mulch it and reuse in gardens and landscaping. That’s where I was taking the branches.

What you do is worthwhile, so you could relight the fires. Buy a copy of "Early Christian Writings", edited by Maxwell Staniforth and Andrew Louth, in the Penguin Classics Series.
It contains the "Didache", 'Did a Kee', as well as the Christian Fathers and their Epistles. All of them were taught by the Apostles, the real ones, not the fake modern day heretics. Clement, Ignatius, Polycarp, Diognetus and Barnabus. There is so much to learn from them about the interpretation of the modern understandings, and errors, of the Bible.
