@dawnfensom8929 You're just making excuses now. Who has said all free agents are bad? I haven't once said that, I'm looking at his record over the last year where he at Charlton in League One and not one fan there had a good word to say about him, I'm seeing what he offers then making judgement.
@@huddersfieldtownfantv8072realistically he's a striker and has an eye for a goal , I believe we are a good enough side to make chances for a striker just like Ipswich did , he might not fit at Charlton...just like Rhodes doesn't fit at us but will probably score goals for Blackpool...it doesn't always come down to previous clubs etc it's environment training methods think before you speak and just dismiss him
Like you say there free agents for a reason, but could we got a better free agent striker yes, could he be another danny ward time will tell, but also he's an experienced player at this level, should he really be on a two year deal possibly not but that's what it is now, hopefully he can chip in with the goals to get us promoted shows signs to me there wont be a striker coming in during the January transfer window, to me looks like more negatives than postives.

Scored 5 goals in all competitions last season in around 15 games in minutes. 21 goals the season before. Decent signing imo
If we had signed him from Ipswich ppl would have different thoughts , free agents aren’t all bad
