Hi, welcome to Parsons! There’s usually a large population of freshmen at Kerrey, so I’m guessing it’ll be okay but to my knowledge, it is random for which dorm you get as a freshman. I think you can submit you preferences on the housing website though.
Hi I don't know if you're still up to the comments on this video but I'm an incoming freshman. Since there are other people of different grade levels, is it hard to feel the unity within the freshman community compared to the freshman only dorms?
It honestly comes down to how willing you are to meet new people. For me, I spent most of my time with just my roommates and a few friends outside the dorm because they were all the friends I needed. I didn’t feel the need to make many friends so I actually don’t know many people that live in the dorms right now lol, but you will definitely feel a sense of unity with the friends you make in the dorms so don’t worry too much!
yes definitely, I’m going into my third year this fall and will continue to live at kerrey. the location is perfect and theres the benefit of living on top of the main building. problem is that rent is pretty high, but I still recommend for first years since the dorms are where you will make your closest friends
that's a smooth transition
Hey dude! I'm dorming in this week... this video is encouraging
I’m actually at Kerrey right now, we could link up once you finish your qt!
are there a lot of bugs and rats in the building? i heard there were in stuy so i was wondering if it’s the same in kerrey.
badass helpful vid
Hi my daughter will be staying at Kerrey Hall during this summer. Is there a safe where they can keep valuable items? Thanks
Hi, no unfortunately Kerrey doesn’t have a safe. I don’t think any of the dorms have a safe. Hope this helps
@@eliotjuno thank you 🙏 I wonder how they keep passports and cash in a safe place?😄
hiii new parsons student coming in for the fall semester!!! wondering if it is difficult to get housing at kerrey hall as a freshmen?
