- In today’s tutorial, I’m sharing an increase technique that I just discovered, easy to do and practically undetectable, ideal for knitted pieces made in Stockinette (Stocking) stitch (sometimes the increases can be decorative, but often we would prefer them to be invisible ;)

very nice and simple, I really appreciate your use of large needles and yarn for the tutorial, it makes it much easier to see and understand!
Thank you so much for this. I’ve been knitting for many years and didn’t know about this , so I’m really excited to use this technique. I know, I know....but lockdown has left us all excited about very odd things😹take care.
Sorry to hear Covid in Spain is still relentless. I do thank you for this new way of adding stitches. Your voice is so soothing. Take care.
You video was the first that popped up to do this increase, and am I glad that it did! Because your instructions were so clear and the way the video was shot, it showed the perfect positioning of your hands. THANKS!!!😊
Thank you so much! Enjoy 😊
I was so frustrated by how ugly my increases are! I started a swatch to practice increasing, and to decide which is the the best looking one. I made some increases using techniques I already knew about, and then did a youtube search. This is the first one I clicked on, and I am through searching! This makes beautiful increases, thank you!!
Hi Carolina.
Thank you for this wonderful no hole increase. I have tried so many without success but I really like this. 🎉
My pleasure! Enjoy your knitting 🤗❣️
Can't wait to try this for socks. I bet this would produce such nice smooth increases for the heel gusset.
Whoa this is great! I hate the holes left by the M1 increase, i’m so glad I found this!
I’m happy to hear it! Enjoy your knitting❣️
Thank you. This is the second time I need this instruction. I'm so grateful that you posted this. It looks great!
Thank you soooo much for this invisible increase technique. I am making skirt for doll and by using this technique, you saved my day. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! Thank you for your comment ☺️
Thank you so much. I’m so glad I found you, your amazing Lady.!!!!!! 🇨🇦❤️
what a fabulous way to make an increase...thank you so very much!!!
Another fab tip!! Love this. I've begun seeing a lack of trendy patterns and started working on my own but haven't found just the right stitches. This solves a huge issue for me for chunky wrist gloves where there are increases and decreases in quick succession!
I’m happy to hear it 🤗
Hi,yes there is a need for fashion in knitting. Especially teens. I have many teens in my family and i am sick of knitting the Harry stiles cardi! I am designing my own children’s knitwear. But if you have any great teen designs would love to see what you have come up with. Good luck.
This was so simple to understand, thank you soooo much!
Thank you 😊 Enjoy your knitting!
@@sowoolly Thank you!
Wow, like a lifted L increase, but easier and looks great! Thank you!
Thank you 😊
merci beaucoup pour ce tuto d'augmentation invisible;
comme de nombreuses tricoteuses je ne connaissais pas;
je vais utiliser cette technique dès mon prochain tricot; encore merci.
Thank you for sharing this Amazing Tutorial! I love it! This is now my Favorite stitch increase ever. Its Totally invisible! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm knitting a piece for my brother in law's birthday, and because I have little time I'm using a very thick wool. And I really didn't like how the hole were so visible. I'm def trying this one out !!
Great! I hope it works!
@sowoolly it did! Thank you so much!
Thank you. And stay well.
absolutely love how careful you are when demonstrating different methods and how you use large needles and wool. but i do have to say it is incredibly hard to see when you use a light colour woll such as this on the bright white background
I'm so glad I found your video. I'd been looking for some way to make an invisible increase but rarely do I find one like yours. a plain M1 i saw doesn't work nearly as well. Thanks!!!
Thank you for your lovely comment!
Amazing and after all these years 👍
thank you so much for showing this method .
My pleasure 🤗
Very neat, thank you for sharing.
Really sorry to ask, but is it possible you could do this again but with dark wool on a light background? I'm struggling to see it. The difference between the light yarn and light background makes it hard to see and cannot work out how to do these invisible increases. Thank you so much 🤞xx
Ho yes I like it very much and thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Amazing! Simple! Thank you!
I like this technique. Thank you
Thank you - using this to fudge a missing stitch on a sweater 😎😂
That’s a great idea. I started a top down sweater last night and noticed that I missed an increase a few rows back!
Thank you! Happy knitting 🤗
The best technique. Thank you for your vdo.
Thank you for watching 🤗
Wonderful! I love this. I'm trying to figure out how to use it when my increase row is p4, m1.
Thank you! I use it for the right side of the Stockinette only 😉
Thanks you so much for your video 🙏
Thank you so much!!
My pleasure! Enjoy 😊
I love this! Thank you for sharing!
What a wonderful technique! Thank you for posting! But pay attention to the stitchcount. Let’s say your pattern says: yarnover, k3, yarnover, k3 etc. And you want to use this technique. This technique uses the first stitch of the 3 inbetween stitches. So you do 2 stitches inbetween the increases. I hope this makes sense….took me an evening of struggling. 😂
Excelente! Thank you and happy knitting 🤗
Thank you love it.
Thank you!
My pleasure 🤗 Happy knitting!
Nice! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you excellent trick!
Genius!
That’s great! Thanks
Does this work when knitting in the round?
Perfect!
Does this increase lean right or left?
I think it’s kind of centered
How can I print your instructions?
It might be super easy, but I am sure I will find a way to mess it up!😂
No worries, you’ll be able to do it perfectly 🤗
@@sowoolly haha, my creations always come out sideways!
Just what I was thinking too 😂😂
but wont my count be off now??
It shouldn't be. The point of increasing is to add more stitches. So if you have 30 stitches and you knit 1, increase 1, repeating all the way across, you'll have 45 stitches at the end.
merci beaucoup ! 💕💕👍👍
Thank you!
My pleasure! Enjoy 😊
