I want to play Valk so bad but I’m losing all my patience with For Honor. I really love the fact Valk is basically a Vanguard/Assassin because she’s a hybrid. Been playing a lot of glad and the stupid fucking reflex guard has been what screws me every time. Been hoping to have something more my pace. I also love superior blocks.
Actually she is more a mix between heavies and assassins. Except the worst qualities of both. I’m saying this as a rep 22 Valkyrie main... however! She is beyond satisfying to play with.
@@VikingLord2000 Eh, I wouldn't say that. If she had slightly more stamina and maybe got a 15 damage light off of her bash instead, she would be pretty damn good. She has a lot of very strong defensive tools. 27 damage omnidirectional crushing counters on a 500ms light is damn good. Highlander only gets 3 more damage and his lights are 600ms, and Valk also has the strongest deflect in the game. And, if I'm not mistaken, she can punish a lawbringer shove with her full guard.
As a rep 38 valk main, it's really fun! Her stamina isn't great and her lights don't do much damage but mixups are brilliant. And the Battleswine outfit is 🔥🔥🔥 REEEEEEEEEEEEEE your way through the battlefield
Big A+ from a fellow Valk player. Played her since Open Beta and she still is my favorite hero in the game. I love how you showed her synergy with her spear throw and her tier 1 and 2 feats. Her feat selection was always good, even after the nerfs and adjustments. And the line-up your using is one of the more underrated ones. I rarely see it used by other valks even though its great for 1vX. The Allfather most definitely approves.
Skill at games and good content doesn't get you far nowadays. He also doesn't benifit from For Honor not having that small of a player base unfortunately
I think he knows that, considering he did it multiple times. The only time he went straight to sweep and heavy was when he thought it was gonna kill the opponent.
Valk is probably my favorite hero in the game. Warden is my baby but Valk just has so many options. I think a lot of people are turned off by her relatively low damage but honestly you just need to learn some variety to be good with her. Excellent as always Faraam.
I Wish i could find Breach matches in South America, but i can only get Duels and Dominion, and even though dominion has 'Very high Activity' i still have to wait up to 10 minutes sometimes
Thanks for showing my girl some love! Remember that people fall on their own when you are in revenge so sweeping isn't necessary in that situation. Save yourself some time and go straight into her punish.

Former mixup lol... Hito isn't nearly as threatening as she used to be. Can light her out of a lot of stuff now since they completely removed hyper armor from startup heavies.

This is not the place to ask this since its a Valk vid I know, but whats your guy's thoughts on WL. I have 11 reps in him when I played the game last and like 25 reps overall(been playing since release just really inactive) and I personally think he's just a bad character. It says he's a counter attacker but I dont he's got that many good counter attack, unless you get a parry and thats rare cause going for a heavy parry is dumb cause they usually just feint heavies. And then of course if you get a light parry I'd assume it'd be better to just throw a heavy since more dmg. Plus his Hyper armor is pretty bad compared to others as well so Im assuming I'm just bad but idk, I really like the character but Im contemplating maining someone else cause I feel hes Low tier compared to other choices.
Farram I would like u to play on console idk if it’s any different but it seems like they attack spam in ganks way less on pc and I want to test my theory or more of u to test it for me
Theres alot of really great characters that require practice and timing and finesse. Then theres valk, accidentally press a button its still gonna be good no matter who you fight
MAX punish in out of stamina GB. Throw, light, heavy. light (if close to a wall ) heavy, light, sweep, light If I am wrong please someone let me know. The more I know the better I become with Valk
Light Light sweep does more damage but if you don’t have enough stamina, light heavy light works too. If close to a wall, it’s sweep if you wall splat your opponent.
I'm surprised how much they fuck up each other's punishes. When I get hitstunned it always leads to 80 dmg not 15. Edit: maybe I should dodge more? Faraam seems to reposition constantly to mitigate bs stunlocks.
I wish I could play to this level. But I can barely counter heavies, let alone lights or dodge like he can. I don't have the eyes and reaction time to pull all that off. I just die 😂

Ostrid Everon ok except valk is kinda mediocre. Her defence is solid but her only offence is a 13 dmg bash that can be backdodged on a single timing.

I think they have different follow-ups and mix-ups.
Thomas Daily crushing counters are safer than deflects but do less damage
Crushing counters are with light attacks and the deflects are with dodge
