I found your channel through, 'hot action fishing and fab' referencing how you did the transom cap. By creating a groove then filling it. Absolutely fantastic. Excellent videos I'll be going through your back catalogue for sure. 🤙🏼😎
Thank you sir! 🙏 I’m learning so much from your videos. What is the green board you used? I noticed no plywood. Thank you and keep the videos coming! 👍
Is there any flex in the gunnels if someone were to stand on them? seems like a pretty long distance that goes unsupported between the bulkheads. Ive never really used the divincell stuff.
how is the rub rail attached? im building a foam 14 pooling boat and was told to use a high density foam to screw the rub rail into. the expense of that stuff has me looking for alternatives.
I use 6 pound density foam to build the cap with. Covered top and bottom with 1708 +_45 biaxial fiberglass and a 3/4 oz mat on top. Glue cap on hull ( bottom preglassed then radius edges and fill voids with putty ( resin, micro balloons and cabosil) sand and glass cap to hull. Rubrail attaches to outside edge.
Thank you Harry to share your knowledge. Appreciate a lot.

Same here, heard Curtis reference this channel!!
I would brush some resin on to that foam to close off all small bubbles then did the laying. Otherwise job looks solid. Nice skiff
good to see captain Stanley working in the background
Отличная работа.Спасибо за видео.
Whatever!

Beautiful job
Thank you sir! 🙏

Really enjoying the series. Will you have videos coming of the rest of the build? Or at least a finished skiff tour and water trial?
Yes hopefully soon
You’re a true craftsman….
Thank you
Keep the video coming
This is exactly the info I was looking for.
One question thought:
Why did you go bi-ax to filler/putty instead of bi-ax to chop strand to gel coat?
Both are good ways to get to the same end. It saves a little weight the way I did it.

Harry i was taught that clear resin lime mini craft was the best. Why do you use this resin?
Thank you
Harry do you have a bushing in your diamond cutter mine is too large for the arbor?
Shame you did not continue the series

why travera fabric versus fiberglass?
What type of foam board did you use?
