Thanks JD 😀. This peninsula has been nothing but difficult starting with the design, then building, and finally trying to get happy with the track layout. As long as that first turnout continues to work I think its done. Maybe a different building on the new siding. I have a Sunrise Mill yet to build which might fit there.
Hi Fred it's been awhile. You're layout has made a lot of progress. The rail shop building by Walthers you inspired me i have the same building as i'm building up my scenery buildings & tracks. Meanwhile .. 📯 The horn blow Fred 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣You make me laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂 it never fails. For a moment before the coupler failing to attach on I felt as I was watching QNERailroad doing various switching I'm still actually watching your former garage layout & being inspired to me 100% Until I watch the next video. Happy model Railroading Fred . Harold CNRR 🇨🇦🇺🇲 etc..
Good to hear from you again Harold. 👍. Couplers 🤬. This switching went way smoother than when I switched the Creston Coop using the new crossovers. 😀. You planning any videos of your layout?
Evening Fred, thas only one word to describe that video....MAGIC!! But you can't always depend on it, as the pudding proved...🤭. Great video, comical & informative and bloomin entertaining 👏. Good work on changing the track, and the a smails. Way past my patience could handle 😂. WOW what a man you are 😮😊.👍
Thanks Grant, you’re so kind. 😀. This old man sure hopes I’m done working on these turnouts. I really struggled with the electrical connection of the switch rail to the main rail. I’ve had issues like this in SAT and ended up replacing three turnouts. But I was able to fix this one. 🤞
Fred excellent operations , a minor glitch, modifications looks great another glitch , some adult language spoken maybe , had trouble hearing it , great video as always
Hi Fred, that’s a great improvement to the track plan near the bakery. Why don’t couplers couple? And I don’t mean the brown boxcar, I mean when picking up the two yellow cars before that and again on the tank cars? The couplers have one job to do and they don’t. Great little ops session and great photos of the steps. Thanks Fred.
Thanks Derek 😀. I like this new track layout a lot. I’m planning a second bakery switching job for the CMRR club coming here mid Sept. The second job will exchange all the cars for existing ones. I’m still deciding where the exchange cars will start and end up. Right now I’m think they will start and end in the Burlington yard. This will keep the jobs fairly quick so multiple guys can repeat the two jobs. A circulating mixed freight could deposit new cars and pick up used cars in the yard. I hope to have 6-8 switching jobs and 2-3 running around jobs for the Club visit. Guys can rotate thru them with lots of rests. Jobs finish where they start, ready for next guy. In several cases I didn’t try to couple, just get real close. Trying to avoid too many hard couples in my videos.
Failed couple? You weren’t supposed to USE those broken couplers I sent you. 😉 I like the rework. I feel bad you had to crawl and climb to install those motors. I still get the shakes when I think of when I installed mine. Not fun.
Thanks Mark 😀. I really hope those $ turnouts keep working. I had so much trouble getting these installed. I don’t think coupler broke, just didn’t line up with the other one. I do have a use for the junk couplers you sent. Keep watching…
Thanks Drew 😀. I’m pretty happy with this area now. Just hoping the switches keep working. I really don’t want to climb up on top of the layout again. I’m getting too old for this type of work. 👨🏻🦳
Very Nice!
Thanks 😀
Nice change to make things flow better Fred. Cool ops session.

Hopefully soon, my living conditions are delaying me from arranging that for the moment.
Ok, good luck.

Thanks Mike 😀. The switching went pretty well as the #$ switches did their jobs. 😀

Thanks James 😀. No bad words were shouted when filming the video but a whole bunch trying to get the turnouts working properly.🤬

Nice update on your layout, Fred. I like the drop off at the bakery. Cool switching ops. I hope no one was injured during fog horn signals. 🤣😃😆
