Me stopping mid-flourishing twirl. What's that you said about my bell sleeves? I just spent several hours tailoring a $1 thrift find because I love the sleeves.
I have that exact Wooden Ships open cardi in my Posh closet, except in a soft aqua-blue. I can't drum up interest in it for the life of me. Makes me sad, because if it was my size, I never would have listed it.
It took a while to move, for sure, but I also don't think they photograph as well as the more novelty sweaters (despite being nicer...) - don't worry, it'll go! Wooden Ships is a more niche brand, but those who love them LOVE them!
Hi, just curious were these all eBay sales? How has your Poshmark sales been? My eBay sales have been way better than Poshmark. I’m really worried about Poshmark as my sales have been the worst it’s ever been in my 4 years of reselling. Love your channel! ❤
Hi! It's a mix of both (with some Mercari and Depop mixed in...)- but you're not wrong - it sounds like across the board Ebay has been outperforming poshmark for many, MANY people. Poshmark continues to push the live sales which, I'm fairly sure, has already turned off the casual poshmark shoppers, and will continue to gut their bottom line as the live sales drive comp prices down. They absolutely are a great avenue for some people, but closet sales and live sales are definitely two very different business models that attract two very different kinds of buyers - they don't coexist well inside of the same app, and eventually one will kill the other. Long answer short - make sure you're crosslisting!
I had one Posh sale in November and one so far in December (after a full closet mark-down). This is the slowest I have ever been since joining in 2020.
Im a very small part-time reseller, and sales on Poshmark have been decent but not daily. Like Sunday, I sold a bundle of 4 items and a single purchase-but nothing since. Just joined Depop about a week ago and I’m just learning the ropes over there. I’m putting some of my quirkier and/or vintage stuff there and I’ve definitely gotten likes, sent offers but no sales yet. Planning to add Etsy for the vintage stuff soon.
As you should! Most sellers sell at the same price across the platforms, but the shipping will save you a few bucks, and if you're going in to someone's closet / shop directly (vs. through an ad or sponsored listing), it'll often be a better percentage going to the seller! That's a win-win!
The Chico's blouse is gorgeous!

right on!
I literally did the twirl, but edited it out of the video...🤣🤣🤣 Maybe you ARE ready for 100% of my weirdness!
@JMSquaredVintage absolutely! Bring it on!

What size? I’m looking for a few sweaters and I love aqua and I love wooden ships

@@JMSquaredVintage to be honest, now that I know most sellers cross list I also check eBay for the better price and cheaper shipping
