Every video I see from Arkansas public makes me that much more grateful to live in the great state of missouri. It’s like an episode of a soap opera down there😂
That was pretty awesome, very creative. Same thing happened to us here in North Carolina this past weekend. We got there at 5 AM, They didn’t come rolling in until six tried to claim it. We all ended up just hunting together, but it was clear the other group was not leaving so it got awkward. It worked out, just not ideal.
Glad y’all got the hole. But if you are where I think y’all are i didn’t think you could access that from the river. I got beat by the Alabama boy last year on foot to the second hole y’all hunted. Seems like we got similar taste in areas
I've done all of this, from doing all the legal research to getting off of work at 10 pm and going and camping on the lake for opening day after. It always ends with a confrontation and still think it may have been worth it😭😂
All y’all mad about these guys doing what they did, why? They followed the rules to a T, and earned it. I see nothing wrong. Public is public. Earn the spot🤷♂️
Can you explain sit there for a week? Are they waiting in line at the boat ramp for a week? I don’t understand the issue or waiting till 4am etc. I live in Oklahoma
@jeredlawrenson6850 They were likely 1st in line at the boat ramp or access gate. They assumed they would have 1st shot at that hole. Obviously there was a short cut with the ability to get a boat across some dry ground.
Just having this come across my feed. This was great 😂 subscribed 💪 maybe we'll run into each other this year and have a gentlemen hunt Instead of being a crybaby about being 2nd lmao.
Good stuff. Sounds like to me that someone got but hurt when they got beat to a hole. The fact that he said they are going to hunt with y’all not asking would have went all over me and for that fact I don’t public land hunt lol. As always great stuff.
By In Line for a week do you mean they hunted it for a week or they waited for a week to hunt it? Sorry I’m confused just trying to understand. Awesome hunt btw good stuff on the strategy that sure is what it’s all about. I love it
No here in Arkansas if you find a hot hole you camp on it ! You hunt it everyday . If you can’t be there you make sure someone in your group is hunting it .
That’s pretty sh1tty that you have to be cutthroat like that in Arkansas. Makes me depressed that I’m leaving PNW to move out east. Guess I’m not hardcore enough to hunt ducks anymore.
For the guy that came in late say he was hunting there I hope you see this comment bud. But your the reason you made us real hunters look bad there was no need in that foolishness. Be a real and respectful hunter. Ask if they say they have so many hunting just move along and wish them a good hunt.
Is it my imagination/bad speakers, or did they just edit the audio to this video???? Also, the description of this video has been edited. It used to say that the Arkansas guys have been sleeping in their truck for a WEEK....
You could put this same amount of effort into becoming wealthy enough to hunt private ground And wake up at 4:30 am And kill a 10 man limit of greenheads
Sometimes putting a little effort into researching something could be good as well. We have a 1200 acre private island in the Mississippi River. We haven’t been able to pump water this season because the MS River is at a record low. But thanks for the advice Martin!
Don’t mean to be a dick but man if you knew those people were already in that hole shooting prior. Seems kinda disrespectful you would get in that persons spot and hunt when you knew they was gonna be there that day. Ik public land is all fair game. But if your having to confront people saying that all I’m here first so you can’t hunt. Just seems like you’re asking for trouble. A duck just ain’t worth an argument to me. And I think duck hunting gets a bad wrap because of it. Glad to see y’all got on em. But seemed like skybusting and taking another persons spot. I’m sure I’d be upset if someone stole a spot I had scouted and hunted before. Definitely have been in situations on both ends. Just ain’t worth it to me. Duck hunting is a lot of work hopefully you guys consider that these other guys are putting in effort just like y’all are
Yea nah, calling dibs on public land is wild. Furthermore, at what point do you give other folks the opportunity to use the spot if you’re just gonna keep going there all season. Then going around town laying claim to a public hole and getting upset because someone got there first is childish. These boys did what they had to do and got on them.
No. Public land is first come first serve. Follow the rules and launch when it’s legal. If you get beat go somewhere else. What’s disrespectful is getting beat and acting like a spoiled child about it.
You guys are wrong for what you did to those boys that were waiting in line for a week for their spot. They were in line first. First come, first serve. You boys exemplify everything wrong with public hunting. It's not ok what you guys did. You at the very least owe them an explanation of how you got there. If you win fair and square, it shouldn't be a secret of how exactly you won. We call that cheating.....
@lesterlangley7550 it's not fair, if it's a secret on how you did it. In order for it to be fair, it has to be understood, explained, and evaluated. If it's a secret, it can't be evaluated to determine if it's fair or not.
@@Allen-xy6hiwould u share how u got into a spot first ever time especially in a packed public land then next time u show up you’ll have everyone in your brother the only people that got to know how you did it is the wildlife officers and if they say it’s good there’s nothing you can do not everyone going to give u information got to work for it
@@daddylonglagz72 I would absolutely tell another hunter how I was able to beat him to a Public Hunt spot. Its been my experience that once they understand how you got there, and that you followed the rules, they will come to an understanding faster than actively trying to be a douche to them (like these guys were to the guys that were in line.) If, I was those guys in line, I would have stayed there while I called the Game Warden out, so that the Game Warden could have the ability to decide/determine if these guys actually followed the rules. Public land hunting is DESIGNED to give every hunter the same opportunity to have a place to hunt. Public land hunts are DESIGNED to be fair, and that's why there are rules to be followed. You are correct in saying that there is an element of work that comes in play to get the spot you want at Public Hunting grounds. That element of work has always been to be the first in line. And that's the way the system has always been set up. Because being first in line has traditionally always either guaranteed you the spot that you want, or at very least gives the best advantage to getting there first. If you were not first in line, but were able to beat the first in line, and are not willing to tell the first guys in line how you got there, its more than logical to call into question whether the guys that got there first did actually follow the rules or not. Guys like the ones in the video, are the very reason Texas is starting to go away from "first come first serve" and are now moving toward a "draw" system for spots on public land. And trust me, the draw system completely sucks. We would all rather have "first come first serve." What these guys do in this video is the exact reason why Texas public land hunts are moving towards a draw system. These guys found a loop hole in the rules, and have exploited it. Its the guys that find these loop holes, that makes people upset, and is ultimately responsible for making Texas Parks and Wildlife change the system to be even more fair. Which is ultimately a lot less fun.
@@Allen-xy6hiif you called the game warden out for being a cry baby about being second and tried to get in my hole and disrupt my hunt I'd press for hunter harassment charges to the fullest. You'd look real silly crying about a duck hole then paying a fine over it

Not only did the guys get beat, then they gotta relive it all on UA-cam for all the world to see. Salt in the wound, man.
they did it again today and went into the refuge 2 minutes early follow the rules my ass
This video is everything that is wrong with Arkansas duck hunting. I hope the AGFC is proud of what they have created.
Shut up tf you know bout it u just don’t love it like folks like us
That was pretty awesome, very creative.

Awesome production Fellas this was fun to watch 💪
Good work men, aint everybody wanna be a cowboy when its time to do cowboy stuff.

I would be pissed. Put that effort in and have that happen. Good on you guys.
Better not show up at that south unit next year boy😂😂 lucky I gave y’all a break this year
Did they beat yall legally though?
All that to shoot Grays and Dogs?? Man, ya'll can come hunt south Louisiana public land sleep in and shoot the same. Great video nonethless.
For real
Nahhh they can say there asses in Arkansas😂
Their lack of preparedness does not account for an emergency on your part… we as humans and hunters have lost respect for one another
I enjoy your shows guys! Barry
Thanks
Don’t get bitter get better!
I would of been in disbelief if i sat there a week and STILL got beat

It pays to be a winner!
We’ll let y’all have a shirt if you beat us! Let’s run em again next year. Enjoyed the video!
Haha! Thanks man! 👊🏼
These guys act like they’re the first group to try this 😂 maybe the first to try and succeed. Congratulations.

How did the kayak wheels do that second time?
Haha! Wish we would have had that debacle on camera so we could show the good and the bad 🤣

I admire the creativity, but this is why I don’t hunt public anymore.
The fact people wait for a week and race for holes is just stupid. Public land hunting in Arkansas has been ruined over the last decade.
Outstanding!
Yall need to make a shirt that says don’t be bitter be better
Great Vid liked n scribed
It's a damn shame what public land duck hunting has become.
The guy should have checked it off, said good luck, and moved on.
Y’all not been on island much lately?
Kinda difficult to hunt duck in the desert. 😂
Hopefully, next year will be better.
Why is 89% of the video a vlog and the rest is shotty camera angles where you can’t see ducks😐
I'm not from a state with the 4am rule, can someone explain it
By law, you can’t access a public refuge until 2 hours before legal sunrise.
Amazing hunt on that river, don’t shoot them swings….
Stay unguided

"get in that person's spot"
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of public land.
It isn’t their spot. It’s a public spot. Public land is for everyone. Earn it if you want it
