      Y'all hear big words and nothing else- Fawn corrected her and said this was way before prohibition. 1850s- 1910 when JD died. Prohibition was 1920- 1933!

    Such a powerful story…I love everything. It’s a amazing how God works, God has been showing me visions of Jack Daniels the bottle for a couple of weeks…not knowing that God wanted to teach me Jack Daniels story through you ‘Fawn Weaver’ a story of equality between black & white people post slavery. I never knew nearest green (African American) taught Jack Daniels…I’m blown away….I love your story and everything you have overcome….you are a hero Fawn Weaver ❤

    Ms Fawn is one of the best teachers you could ever meet. One of the most valuable lessons she shared with my business partners was this: if you believe in your product, never accept less than a $250k investment from investors on your cap table.

I feel like he wanted the people he was complaining about to do a lot of the heavy lifting, when they have already made a name for themselves.

    I love her philosophy on business. However, as she stated, it is hard to find other people who look like you to invest in your business. Some "other" people are always excited to take ideas and run with them. This was a fantastic interview. The only thing I will change/add is that black people aren't new to success; they are just afraid of it now for some reason. But we can't let that continue to be what dictates how we move forward.
