i really love your big stuff, but these small fighters are soooo detailed and well crafted and they don't take that much space. thank you for all your builds :).
I like that even in that small scale you got the wings to open properly. They don't just hinge where they are attacked, they kind of hinge at the center of the fighter making them open in an arc shape. Very cool, great job.
Yeah I just wanted them to work as the original model. It was the most difficult part to achieve but the final result was totally worth the effort :)
@DarthDesigner the only part I don't understand is the flair out at the end of the engines. I'm pretty sure the Xwing engines are more or less straight tubes.

The end of the engine is a little bit weird. i think it is much better if you just remove the last light blurish gray item on each engine. Maybe even replace with just 1x1 round plate.
