This video is so real is so true it hurts just to listen it frightens my soul but I listen to how many times he said the word Allah and remember that he is al latif al khabir
One of the most comprehensive sohbats I have ever heard from any shaykh. Allah bless him immensely. I was simply captivated listening to him 🙏 This Talk is actually keeping me sane 👌
There are comments from 10 years ago and I found this video just recently...Alhamdulillah for this ‘discovery’. It makes me think if I should delete my UA-cam channel.
I am at a loss for words to express my gratitude for you uploading this hidden gem. This video has exceeded all my expectations and answered all my questions. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. May Allah bless you abundantly for this.
This is such an awakening talk! Such a good reminder about why we are here and how to go about it. This scholar is such an inspirational person. May Allah bless him!
I found each video extensive pertaining. to a lifestyle need. My interest now is to completely read the translated version of the Quaran. This I found to be an enormous amount of valuable material.
Peace and blessing to you. Put some effort to understand which translation is respected, by whom, and for what reasons. Otherwise you are leaving a lot in the hands of someone who you don't know if you can trust. Also...the oldies, such as Pickthall and Yusuf Ali have remained in good standing, with a few well-known errors discussed at length should you want to find out. Sorry if I lectured you on something you are well aware of. :)
@@sgttomas yes.i am on same path.i have a very good authentic translation of Quran but simultaneously i am learning arabic which is helping me to memorise as well.
Amazing speech, he describes the state of the modern world in a way that really makes you contemplate the absurdity of the uncritical assumptions we make that allows modernity to become so prevalent. Which is in a way ironic because one of the main teachings of modernity is to be critical of everything, everything except being critical of that way of looking at the world and our experience in it.
Peace and Blesssings ! Great Speech ! ! We need to Be More Loving to Our Troubled YOUTH Of Today as well as EACH OTHER ! We are at the End Of Times Signs ! We can at least be more cordial to each other !
Salaam alikum , excellent delivery, really loved the comments made about Saint BEAD Durham Cathedral holds many keys to truths Jasarkallah Many Thanks Ty Birmingham cabbie
The Rumi cynic is different. He loves Allah. He sees this world as a bridge to Paradise. He laughs at the Dawkins cynic because that man cannot see the obvious signs of the Most High. He is cynical about cynicism. He doesn't believe what the Dawkins cynic says. He sees the Dawkins cynic as a fool deserving pity.
Brother Genc, assalam alaikum. One answer to your question about cynicism is that Shaykh Abdal Hakim describes two different kinds of cynicism. Let's call the one Dawkins cynicism and the other Rumi cynicism. Richard Dawkins is a well-known atheist. Like him, many in the West are cynical about religion, about Allah, Most High. They distract themselves with entertainment to keep from thinking of death, which they see as annihilation. They love anything in the world that can distract them .
I would love to ask the sheikh however, and its something that i can quite grip with, maybe its due to my inability to understand truly what he means. He says that the modern world loves cynicism and being skeptical and i presume to him, that's one of the problems of modernity. Yet one of his solutions is being cynical. I cant quite reconcile that as a solution if its a problem if you know what i mean. Anybody know if i can find a way of contacting the sheikh so maybe he can clarify that to me,
He has said in other talks that he receives hundreds of emails a day and does not respond to more than one or two and most he doesn't even read, which is understandable. You can, however, reach out to an organization such as "Seekers Hub". They are staffed and competent to answer such questions.
AsalaamuAlaykum, Alhamdulillah brother thanks for posting the Lecture, SubhanAllah. May Allah reward you, Ameen. InshaAllah share videos when ever you post a new video. JazakaAllah Khair.
This is one of my favourite talks given by Abdal Hakim Murad.

Plz don’t read rumi translated by Coleman banks. He mistranslated rumi and took islam out of it.
Rumi without spirituality and Allah swt is not Rumi.
