Yea he ran thru NorCal top prospects, kalder just went toe to toe with Ernie juarez who’s going to be on dwcs in august, Farjado, kaldar, rivas, and Billy brand are all really good prospects and he walked them
@@erikmorales17 payton said in an interview with ariel that his coach at his mma gym approached him 9 months in to him training MMA about taking a fight. keep in mind payton wrestled in high school. he also said he trained pretty much every day since he began MMA. I don't know if 9 months in is the best idea in any situation, i'm kind of amazed at payton's progress and development considering how many people come in to the UFC already having sooo many years of combat experience. i think payton is probably the exception. i wouldn't model your own path off of his. if you feel good in the gym and you're beating guys up, it's probably a good sign that you're on the right track to compete. look at your own performance and be honest with yourself. you don't have to wait 6 years but don't throw yourself in there super early either. all the best
Another fight to watch to truly see how good and well rounded this guy is. UFC got a new superstar for sure
