@refeiK nwoCcM He was never his friend and never his enemy. We all knew that Refeik. That height Phelps was jumping up to is impossible, especially with water over his feet. But yeah, why does Phelps have to die for all the burden he's done to his family?
@refeiK nwoCcM Well, I hate Earle too and his corruption in LA. I have played through all of it. You are welcome to release all the grief you want at anyone. Let all that anger out. Nothing I can say will ever bring Cole back. That's all I have to say.
When this song plays, everything feels like it's in slow motion just like in the game. There's not even words that can describe the feelings I have for this game and how sentimental it gets to me.
Because its about dying and how we can't avoid it. The singer laments their death in the first verse, says goodbye in the second, then asks his friends to keep living with "Shine light into darkness"
John: "You're my brother." Arthur: "I know." I love how Arthur's essentially the big brother who in the end does everything he can to make sure John and his family get a chance for a better life.

It never hits the same after completing the game for the first time, nothing compares to the excitement of booting up rdr2 to finish the game and be hit with Arthur’s death. That scene hit hard for the first time, it will never feel the same after confronting Micah at mount hagen
When Arthur's horse went down and John yelled at him to hurry up. He said "wait" then he took the time to say "thank you" while his horse passed away. That scene had me crying...
The last 5-6 hours of the game caught me like nothing else. The hate for Micah, sorrow for Arthur, disbelief because of Dutch's behaviour. AND THEN THE FUCKING HORSE!! I was an emotional wreck after Arthur died.
I started crying when the horse died, it was a white Arabian and her name was Seahorse, had her since chapter 2. Somehow I really felt Seahorse trusted Arthur, never got bucked off and went she got scared all I had to do was press the calm down button and she'd calm down, she was a real good horse.. got really sad when she died.
I had a fully bonded black Arabian by the name of Dullahan. A majestic and proud stallion. I rewinded the game 10 hours once cuz he died and there was no autosave in those hours. A gorgeous saddle, and groomed every time he looked vaguely dirty. He got all the sugar cubes. When I saw him there, dying, god it hurt. This horse was my companion. He could run from Wapiti to Emerald Ranch and back without stopping.
It’s dumb but I legitimately feel like I’m grieving for Arthur. It’s been days and I still feel choked up about it. Never had this happen from any game, book, or TV series before.
@@katyalupochev9589 its not dumb at all. Great games with great stories are hard to find and when you play one like RDR2 you invest yourself into characters. Rockstar just knows how to make epic games.

Arthur taught us to be good people to be loyal even though he does not exist doesn't mean that the emotions in the urge to do the loyal and right thing doesn't exist.
That line hits me hard personally. I don't seem to believe in love much cause most of what I get is hatred and pure disgust from others. But I can't help but hope there is a person out there to prove to me that love exists.

@@haroondanyal5466 "Maybe it's a sign, Arthur...try...try to do the good thing" In his diary, he makes it clear that it took he a while to realize how things really were and are, as is life, the band and Dutch especially. Therefore, at a certain point (and especially the course towards the end), one tends to think that the Canon is that at a certain point (more or less intermediate) until the final chapter, Arthur begins to see things in a different way, to think differently and try to do the right thing, that's why in the end he says it, that at least he tried, he tried to do the right thing for once in his life(helping as much as he can to those who he still care, certain people that he hurt, as well to people who need it). In a way, everything he did in the end brings him to his Redemption.
You simply arent human if you played through the whole game , got to Arthurs last ride and heard this song and didnt have some form of emotional reaction
Red Dead Redemption: I don't want to play as Jack, I want to play as John! Red Dead Redemption 2: I don't want to play as John, I want to play as Arthur!
Hosea: When I die, Just want to be buried with friends. Lenny: Me too.. with friends or with family, I dont think that matters more than that Hosea: What about you Arthur Arthur: Bah I dont care in that nonsense Hosea: OOH come on Arthur: Face me to the West so I can watch the setting sun And... remember all the fun times we that way...
What's pretty cool about that quote is that instead of Arthur watching a setting sun symbolising him fading away to death, he instead watches a sunrise which symbolises that he brought life to John, so that he could finally have a life with his family.

Also i wanted to say that i got the ending where i choose to go with john, and at the end i got to watch the sun rise while arthur dies. I love that game now 10/10. (i still have to play the epilogue so please no spoilers)
The fact Arthur was still loyal to Dutch in his final moments, even if Dutch left him to die, shows what a real friend is. Arthur was even scared of death, but he accepted in the end, because he actually helped people to live better lifes. He did something with his life, that was the important thing for him, he didn't want to die just as a killer and a thief.
I'm pretty sure the reason Arthur said I'm afraid isn't because he's afraid to die, but he's afraid to be kind to others. That's why Sister Calderon says: "Take a gamble that love exists, and do a loving act."
That moment when you get the shit kicked out of you by a man dying of tuberculosis, wasn’t a fair fight and Arthur still whooped him and if Dutch wasn’t there, would’ve killed him too

the amount of people it must have taken to create this masterpiece of cinematography-turned-gaming, be they the software developers, the graphic designers, the actors, the musicians and singers. I wish I could thank each and every one of them.
I think the saddest part is the fact John never mentions Arthur in the 1st Red Dead, I know it’s due to the fact Arthur didn’t exist back then, but I like to see it as John being so broken over losing a friend that he never talks about it.
D Hufflepuff I agree with you! Adding little Easter Eggs that go back to Red Dead 2, would be cool! Like an older John going to Arthur’s Grave, or Uncle bringing up old memories about Hosea, Lenny etc from your time in the gang.
In RDR2, John catches up with an old friend from the game, and they talk about Arthur. John said he doesn't talk about him much, probably because of it hurting too much.
Joey Sourlis That’s the very end, when John sees the old members of the camp, Mary Beth tells John she’s gone into writing her own book, after Arthur died and that Dutch etc was the death of your gang, then he speaks to Rain’s Falls who is gaining Dementia at this point and can barely remember Arthur, but describes him as a very noble man, but I can’t remember the rest. I understand were John is coming from tho.

I ended up seeing your comment, so I decided to get the ball rolling for him. I sent a long-play playthrough for him to watch (28 hours sheesh). He promised that if he starts liking it enough he'll play it himself. I think he would really enjoy this as a whole.

I feel you bro
It was so sad the horses death had music and everything

In his diary, he makes it clear that it took he a while to realize how things really were and are, as is life, the band and Dutch especially.
In a way, everything he did in the end brings him to his Redemption.

we need to get rockstar to send a copy to heaven for him now
may his soul rest in peace .
I know how you feel friend. My grandmother used to enjoy watching me playing video games too, including the First RDR. She passed away in 2016. Although they moved on these warm and rare memories will stay with us Forever.
@@thekingsean92 i am sorry for you loss bro. may have mercy on her soul .
the amount of people it must have taken to create this masterpiece of cinematography-turned-gaming, be they the software developers, the graphic designers, the actors, the musicians and singers. I wish I could thank each and every one of them.
I think the saddest part is the fact John never mentions Arthur in the 1st Red Dead, I know it’s due to the fact Arthur didn’t exist back then, but I like to see it as John being so broken over losing a friend that he never talks about it.
If they ever remaster RDR1 they should add extra moments that mention the other gang members at the very least.
Arthur was more than a friend tho. More like a father
"Revenge is a fool's game."
"We're thieves, in a world that don't want us no more"
"we're more ghosts than people'"
"I'm afraid."
Arthur Morgan
1863-1899
He was so young wtf
No name yea he died when he was like 36 or something like that
@@faisalfouzan I know, Arthur was just 36 and John was 38 when he was killed. It sucks that Micah, Dutch, Ross and Bill all lived to be older than them when they bit the dust, but I suppose Arthur and John were much more sorely missed by people.
@@flyingrancidm00nfish7 have you not played both games? Dutch dies in rdr1 and Jack kills Ross so it's not long after John dies. Also Micah died bc John shot him on the last mission of rdr2.
@@panoriscent I've played both games, John and Arthur were in their thirties when they died but Micah and Bill lived till they were in their late forties and Dutch and Ross lived till they were in their mid fifties, hence they all lived to be older than John or Arthur ever were, despite the fact John killed two of them, Dutch killed himself and Jack killed Ross.
Best 60$ dollars spend
can you believe i traded gta v and gow for this game? and i didnt regret it!
Same
You can say that again it was worth the moneh
For me, it was the best 100$ ever spent. Mainly because I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition lol
My Game of Silence I would easily spend $300 dollars on this
