Hey I am doing science Olympiad right now and I am using these vex products for a robot I made. This was very helpful but I am still in need of help for programming. Could u maybe post a video or point me in a good direction so I can learn how to program the joysticks and the buttons? I hope to hear from u
What would I do if my cortex and controller will connect with the cable but will not connect when I try to go wireless. all of my firmware is up to date
It could be your VEXnet Keys. If you have extra VEXnet Keys, I would try different combinations of those to see if you can identify a possible bad key and/or a good combination of keys. The old (black) keys were fairly notorious for breaking easily if dropped, I don't know how reliable the newer (white) ones are (I haven't had a whole lot of time with them yet.) Does that help?
I havnt changed anything but on my cortex the game light keeps flashing and the vexnet light is off....the controller looked just liked yours did but my cortex lights were as explained. what do i do?
Also when i put in the wireless adapters on the controller the joystick lights up green, the robot light is off, the vexnet light is flashing orange, and the game light is off. On the cortex when i put in the wireless adapter the robot light is flashing green, the vexnet light is off and the game light is flashing green....idk what to do.
you saved a major engineering project of mine. Thanks!
I'm imagining Dustin from Stranger Things as this guy speaks. LMFAO
Lol

So I have tried various combinations of the vex keys I have. I even used to brand new 2.0 keys and I still cannot get them to connect.
