- I’ve managed to defeat all the Special Bosses which appear during Treasure Battle, and these are: Shin Akuma, Heihachi, Devil Kazumi, Devil Kazuya and Jin. These fights are special event battles which occur after consecutive wins, and there’s no special buff or condition, but the enemy character is powered up (like they were in Story Mode). Generally the ultimate strat against the treasure battle CPU is to just walk backwards, wait till it starts running at you, then hit it with whatevs propels your character forward as it's mid run. Perfects for days.
I see. I suppose I'd do that on a harder difficulty, or out of desperation. But for the most part, I'd hope to make fights interesting!
Ye it just started feeling like a tedious grind to get certain stuff, so cheaper/faster the better. =p

Supreme You can only get Jin's Tekken 4 outfit if you have the Deluxe edition of Tekken 7.
I love how everyone is powered up, or in a special form, and Jin is just... him and his fists. This shows how he despises his devil form and wants just to have a normal match one on one.
True! And it shows Jin's latent power. He's definitely the strongest he's ever been in this game (T4 madness aside), and seeing him as a boss again is really cool. Thanks for watching!

I once had Heihachi use his special Rage Art against me! It is the same one he uses in the final fight against Devil Kazuya. I was very much astonished to learn it's instant death!

I had 80% health left but his Rage Art took all of that.
So maybe his Rage Art and Devil Kazuya's special Rage Art, along with Shin Akuma's Wrath of the Raging Demon, are ALL One-Hit Kills!

Try taking a Rage Art with your health at 100%, YOU ARE STILL DOOMED!

I really hate Shin Akuma, he spams fireballs everyday and runs away and charges at you when you least expect it

remember to keep sidestep when fighting akuma
side steps, side walk and long reaching attack moves that can dodge fireballs he's still cheap as hell in this game
BellowD Gaming i think you have to sidestep or sidewalk when fighting all special battle but not jin kazama
Not Heihachi he's got an AOE move that can be spammed with cheapness if you side step. Jin Kazama is just Jin with beefed up difficulty and damage he's no biggie
that heihachi costume would be a sick customisation item

Kazama Taurus Devil Kazuya is only playable in the Special Chapter against Shin Akuma, but other than that he's only playable in Story Mode.
You know how OP if you uses those bosses
they're WAY too powerful to be playable. even ultimate heihachi(story mode)

Also something worth noting, the characters you fight in special matches all have some extra moves & changes to certain combo strings that aren't accessible in the main game.

My opinion for all bosses
Jin- Easy, and since I was an Jin player, it is easy to react to his moves.
Kazuya- little bit challenging
Heihachi- Easy.
Shin akuma - depends on the mode, if it is treasure battle, the battle is meh. But in story mode? Jeez.
Devil Kazumi - HARD EFF, HER FLYING/FLYING COMBO/CHARGE ATTACK... wtf...
That's why Devil Kazumi is my favorite xD
Easy: Jin and Devil Kazuya
Medium: Heihachi
Ultra Hard: Devil Kazumi
Impossible (RIP keyboard): Shin Akuma
In my opinion Akuma is the hardest out of all of them and then probably Kazumi and her flying out of my combos. :/

Yeah, figuring him out isn't too tough, but he still does a ton of damage, haha.

Great battles
Heihachi's Spinning Demon to Tsunami Kick move has an extra kick. Usually it's 3 low spinning kicks then the last kick. Against this version of Heihachi, it's 4 spinning kicks & the last kick.
wish it had all bosses + new and all add angel , possessed jinpachi , nancy , azazel , devil jin
That'd be interesting. I suppose it could be a cool unique mode; a boss rush where you fight all the bosses of the Tekken series. Not sure if they'd ever add it though. Thanks for watching!

If that's the case, it's either bad rng or you haven't completed the story yet, because that's what makes them available to fight.

Akuma is such a badass amazing player
Got no problem with either of those fight as Dragunov except Kazumi. She had a weird ass behavior unless you walk back and counter her running with WS 1+2 or WS3. It works somehow. Beating all those guys legit except for Kazumi. A decent Dragunov just obliterate everyone.

mostly everyone of the special bosses have sometype of cheating ass transformation except for jin which he just have new cool ass moves.

That's weird, everytime I face Devil Kazumi, she would always escape my combos.
I got VERY lucky this cycle. The first 2 times I fought her, i lost hard and she did her flying unblockable to me several times. So this time wasn't very exciting, but I'm glad I got it done! Thanks for watching :)

Nah, not sure. Kazumi seems very rare, so does Jin.

Yeah, I think she's the most common one. And honestly, the most annoying cause she drops out of combos and when she makes you block the tiger and then lasers you, it's really cheap, haha.

Yes you do; once you fully complete story mode, all these fights will appear randomly.
it would be cool if jin has already rage at the start of the match same as T6
For me, Devil Kazumi is hard for me to beat it to get that skin and she kept using that tiger attack and flying at me in treasure battle.
Badest thing that can happen to me is meeting you on a player match (:

At the higher ranks, especially from Tekken King to Tekken God Omega, "special matches" are the unbeatable matches I've encountered so far.
If you mistime an attack or the AI guards your attack, the AI punishes you with a flurry of combos repeatedly, taking away half of your HP giving you no chance to strike them back. This will happen if you're playing against Devil Kazuya and Devil Kazumi.
Tried playing with Katarina, but before you complete the combo, Kazuya and Kazumi (both in Devil forms) will immediately do a teleportation move that will take away your health. Both will be in full defense-cum-offensive mode against any of your attacks, including Rage Arts.
Not only this, the enemy AI running towards you, will stop and step back a little if it sees you performing an attacking move and then go on "beast mode" on you, just moments before you're about to perform another move.
i defeated ALL OF THEM with Jin Kazama, also Shin Akuma was the last one
I was playing as Kazuya, in the treasure room, today and pretty much every other fight was Jin, no idea why though.

My guess is he wants one of their characters in Tekken 7 as DLC...my money's on Azrael or Bullet from BlazBlue or Akihiko Sanada from Persona. Who do you think could join Tekken 7 from Arc System Works?
Hard to say. It could be any character, honestly. But yeah, a character with a lot of physical attacks and some projectiles would fit the most, from what we've seen with Akuma and Geese.

Just keep playing. As long as you've completed story mode, you'll eventually run into them in Treasure Battle. Jin is quite rare though

For the trophy, does this have to be done in one sitting. Like not quitting and going back? For some reason I find these special matches incredibly difficult. I’ve done one. But can’t seem to beat the 2nd one when I get to it. It’s so frustratingly hard. And annoying, because you can’t just restart the special match. You have to start all over again. And the special matches are all random how they come up in the treasure battles.
As long as you've beaten all of them overall, doesn't have to be in one sitting. Just keep trying! Sometimes it might help to restart Treasure Battle and hope for a new special match.

one thing about special match they are fun but if they do their rage art on you u are ko redgardless of health

Hearing the battle theme which played when you faced Kazumi, I can't help but ask. Did you edit any audio, or is it pure game audio?
It's game audio; since I play the game on PS4, I changed the stage track to 'The Finalizer' from Tekken 5
That is why I asked. I thought that they added the soundtrack for homage to Tekken 5. I personally think that Ground Zero theme fits so much better for a final boss. Excellent video anyway. :)

In Tekken 7, the modern musical palette is so obvious to hear. When Kazuya was fighting Heihachi. What was that? Early 2000's took the foundations of older generations and reached its peak at music of gaming. Now we go in reverse. A downhill road. In my opinion of course.

You have to complete story mode for them to randomly appear in Treasure Battle.

There's no specific way to force it to happen, it just tends to happen during win streaks, but not any particular number of them.

Yeah, they appear randomly. So you just have to keep playing until they appear.
But how do you find the Special Matches?
After beating story mode, you need to play Treasure Battle for a while and eventually you'll run into each boss.

It's actually a sound byte that usually comes up when he does Corpse Thrust (D.1) or at the end of his Rage Art, with the final hit. So in the case of boss Jin in Treasure Battle, he makes that sound since he gets an additional EWGF, which you normally can't do.
Yes, it's something only boss Jin does.
Jin Kazama is also playable, the skin when you fight him as a special boss is available and it's also the main skin, Jin Kazama is a playable character AND a special boss
Any tips against shin akuma??
In general, you just have to try and sidestep or just block his fireballs and then try and chase him down if he teleports away. You can usually just block and wait for an opening if you're not sure.
You can make use of his "teleporting away to full charge his bar" special move to approach him and lead him into the corner...
Even shin akuma is no less than a cornered rat when it comes to wallsplat XD

Once you complete the main story, all the special bosses should appear randomly

I don't think so. Quite a few of the treasure battle customizations aren't currently available, but they might be soon

I play every Tekken game on Ultra hard and it's still not a challenge to me but still love the game
Wait this has been a thing since launch? I’ve hit Tekken god prime in treasure battle with 7 characters, gotten over 300 win streak, and literally only ever fought Kazumi. That fuck??
Have you completed story mode? Once you complete the main story, the others will appear as secret bosses in Treasure Battle, and Jin is extremely rare.

Really? Strange. Admittedly, from the few times I've played Treasure Battle again, I almost never see Heihachi or Jin. They're very rare, so you have to get really lucky.

Cody Mitchell Shin Akuma, yeah he kind of is in Story Mode especially. Devil Kazuya, not as hard but he can catch you off-guard at times. Heihachi and Jin are pretty easy.

I kept thinking that Shin Akuma is the Tekken 7 version of Jinpachi of T5 lmao.. The cheapness, escape, fireball spam but Jinpachi fireball is 10x devastating than Shin Akuma but Shin Akuma is predictable like Azazel with attack patterns lol
Yeah I hate Jinpachi WAY more, and back then I was awful at sidestepping too. Shin Akuma is surprisingly fair in comparison.
@@JusticeSoulTuna yep Jinpachi, for a Tekken Character, was quite Linear in his moveset, linear but overpowered and cheap. This was corrected in TTT2, where all his movesets are expanded and some of his op movesets are nerf, but his Fireball and Lifesteal are still devastating as fvck
The funny thing about this...is Jin is a boss without special power up or buffs on his own, yet one of the hardest in my opinion

Treasure Battle, but tbh you could play for a long time and never get any bosses. So trying arcade is good if you want to get to the boss faster, even if it ends up being Kazumi

Ok. The appearance rate is completely random. I almost never see Heihachi when I play these days
