@@ShowMeSkillz no it doesn't this is a cover by the original singer, someone stole the master recordings so they rerecorded the song just for Guitar Hero 3
I love how Johnny Rotten embraces the absurdity of a then fifty year old man singing about anarchy and disrupting the establishment. It's a fun song instead of an angry one and tbh I kind of prefer this take. The original is brilliant, of course, but I like this
That’s what happens when you have the original singer, who recorded the song in 1976 who was a teen/20’s, record the song 45 years later. Johnny Rotten got old
This is the one re-recording I can’t stand. John Lydon’s voice just ain’t what it used to be which isn’t saying much since his voice has always been vulgar and crass. But this version just sounds too sloppy compared to the original one. I get why Sex Pistols covered it, they lost the original recordings. But this is the one song I dread playing whenever I play GH3.
This is my favorite version. Everything ends on a more satisfying note
wat? is the same as original

@@Arcademan09 Yh, i agree. Heard this version first and fell in love with it. The orginal is cool too, but definitely prefer this
I think it's live version from the 00's @@Arcademan09
I always imagined a goat singing this
Now l can't stop imagine that while l listen the song XD
Listen to the original one that one sounds more like a goat
Underrated comment
why goat?
Johnny Rotten is the GOAT
If I remember correctly, the Sex Pistols had to re record this because they lost the original recording
i dont think so, there is a special where they go through this record layer by layer
From video of GH3, they did say they lost the original one, so they re-record.
David Michael i thought so
You remember correctly.
Correct!

1:15 that's my favorite part in this song, the guitar solo sounds great 😁👍🏻💖🎸🎧🎶🎶🎶
His new voice is so much cooler than his old voice. And the laugh at the beginning is the coolest thing ever to me for some reason.

This song is so fucking fun to play for some reason.
I prefer the voice from the original song. But can't deny that the overall quality of this version is amazing!!!

Fun fact: This very same version was used in the A-Team movie and is credited as such.
Better than original
Do you now who sings this version?

RIP Sid Vicious! ✊🏻
I finally got 100% on this song on expert!
Congratulations
John is in his higher register Pil setting here. Complete with extra vibrato, but the rest sounds good.
This, and Proving Ground, actually caused them to start making music again.
Until 2008 when they quit again.
Ngl I kinda like this version a little better
Yeah I like the vibrato when he says "i wanna be" probably not vibrato but i just the sound of his voice

Sounds more like Anarchy In The Senior Center
A-Team. Anarchy in the Mental Hospital.

This is the best version Sex Pistols recorded of this song
Vocals are inferior but not too shabby, the rest is superior to the original
Completely agree, everything is better bar his vocals!
You rock

I got to know Sex Pistols thanks to GH3 before JoJo, but still, I can no longer
think about this song without associating it with Mista.

Funnily enough I prefer this to the original
Anarchy in the UK (Johnny’s version)
The funniest part is that hes being ironic. Anarchy is a deus ex machina for political inchoates.
