Lol

My translation
The house was very close to Sujata's house. She had seen this house so many times while walking by but She never entered inside it as she didn't know whose house it was.
The house is a two storey old building with a balcony ahead of it and a metro design carved at the top of the house. 'East Ganga Nagar' is inscribed on the wall, probably indicating the village name of the owner.
Sujata witnessed how like city Kolkata the outlook of the building had changed in past twenty years. One portion of the building is new and sparkling, highlighted with enamal paint and have an air-cooler below the window. Another portion of the building is dilapidated, plaster is slipped off and it has a dirty curtain cut out of a saree on the window.
In downstairs in front of the street almost every apartment has laundry, homeopathic medicine shops, radio mechanic shops. It seems that the wealth and poverty have been distributed to each apartment in the building.
After crossing the dark passage, There is a big room aside the common courtyard. It is the backside of the building. In the front, There is a unnurtured custard apple tree. The plaster of wall and roof has been slipped off and the cement of floor has been peeled off. There is a big bedstead on the floor. There is an Almira which is filled with dirty unused law books and has rust at the bottom of it.
Thank you.
The house was very close to Sujata's place. She had seen this house countless times while walking by, but she had never entered it because she didn't know to whom it belonged.
The house is a two-story old building with a balcony extending in front of it, and a metro design carved at the top of the house. 'East Ganga Nagar' is inscribed on the wall, probably indicating the village name of the owner.
Sujata observed how, like the city of Kolkata, the appearance of the building had transformed over the past twenty years. One part of the building is new and gleaming, adorned with enamel paint and featuring an air-cooler beneath the window. Another part of the building is dilapidated; plaster has chipped away, and there's a worn curtain made from a saree hanging in the window.
Downstairs, along the street, nearly every apartment hosts laundry facilities, homeopathic medicine shops, and radio mechanic workshops. It appears that wealth and poverty have been allocated to each apartment in the building.
After passing through a dim corridor, there's a spacious room adjacent to the common courtyard at the rear of the building. In the front, an uncared-for custard apple tree stands. The plaster on the walls and roof has deteriorated, and the cement on the floor has worn away. A large bedstead rests on the floor. An Almirah, filled with unused, dirty law books and rust at its base, is also present.
Sir, your video is very helpful. I have just started practicing. There is one line, ...baritar chehara kolkatar mato hoye gelo. You have translated it " the house has transformed into one in Kolkata." Does not this mean all the houses of Kolkata are like one observed by Sujata? Like some part glossy and some part worn out? Of course there are many. I was thinking the look of the house became like Kolkata city itself, some area glossy, rich and some area shabby and poor. Kindly guide me if my logic is right or not.
And, are Shariks just partners? Aren't they descendants claiming properties?
Good clarity of thought.
But you can write " the house resembles the city, kolkata itself” avoid mentioning glossy and worn out parts. That's not necessary.
About Shariks, you are right.
He remembers his old two-storey building
